For a 6 year old's hand, this is way too small

Amazon had a cute camera, but I was concerned that her size would not be suitable for her. Due to the way the buttons on the clear waterproof case don't line up correctly with the buttons on the camera, the clear case makes the camera inoperable when it's on. I am reminded of photos I took from a flip phone camera because of the picture and video quality. There's no way I'm keeping this, and I will return it.

Handheld camera with a small sensor. I have a son who is eight years old, and this is ideal. Underwater it works. I don't mind that the image quality isn't great, but she does. It would be better if the battery life was a little longer. For the price, this is a great deal.
