We're dealing with a similar issue. The fact that you don't get a power adapter when you buy this is a little ridiculous. It was a real letdown.

friendly. This is something we bought for our seven-year-old daughter. year- a 12-year-old daughter who enjoys singing along to videos on her tablet She has special needs and has difficulty with fine motor control, but she was able to quickly connect her tablet and sing along. Although the stand was designed to hold a phone, she simply placed the tablet on a nearby shelf. The microphone adjusts to a height that is comfortable for her. She enjoys making the applause sound after she finishes singing! The disco light is a fun addition, and the system volume isn't so high that we can't tune it out behind closed doors. ) Saves batteries by turning itself off after a while. We came out on top, and we're still going strong almost a year later.
This is the cutest thing I've ever seen! My daughter loves the little clapping sound feature so she can get pumped up, it can be adjusted for different heights as they grow, there are cute little songs to learn, and they have a little display that plays an animation as the songs play. They can also play free to allow her to sing her own song. It was a lot of fun!.
This was my son's favorite present for his birthday. He enjoys music and singing, and the effects (sounds, lights, etc. ) are fantastic. The microphone is better than most cheap kid microphones, but you still have to put your mouth close to the microphone to get it to work properly, which I don't like, but it was a great buy for him overall. This is something I would recommend to any child who enjoys singing.
We were all expecting a show once it was opened and put together, but the sound from the microphone was so poor that we could barely hear his voice, and he had to put his mouth almost on it to hear anything at all, rendering the stand useless. Even when connected to an iPod or phone, the machine's sound is acceptable, but not exceptional. It was a poor choice for a gift for a young boy. It's too late to return something that was purchased way too early. V- was my first thought. The quality of technology was better.
This was a present for my 6-year-old daughter; it's a cute product that works well and has a lot of entertaining features!.
This was a gift for my daughter's first sleepover and birthday. It worked for about half of the night before the mic went out. Vtech has always been a favorite of mine, but I'm disappointed.
I wish I hadn't done my Christmas shopping in November and was still able to return this item. We took it out of the box so we could see it on Christmas morning. When I tried it out, I discovered that the microphone volume is low (even when it is set to high) and that there is static interference. I'm extremely dissatisfied with this outcome. It will most likely not be the highlight of my 5-year-old's Christmas morning, as I had hoped.
