Provincial powers - the now-physically manifested Kami will not only aid the clans that offer the most worship, but they will also bestow special abilities on the provinces they occupy.

New season card sets - players can add the mountain season card set to the base game's season card set to expand the game's options and strategies.

The parts, art work, and miniatures are all of excellent quality in this game. The game takes a little longer to play than advertised, but time flies when you're having a good time. Diverse strategies and factions provide different advantages and paths to victory, resulting in a high level of replayability; each game plays out differently, keeping things interesting. It's a fantastic Japanese theme. br>A wide range of mechanisms - Take That, Variable Phase Order, Variable Player Powers, Area Control / Area Influence, Area Movement, Card Drafting, Set Collection, Simultaneous Action Selection, Simultaneous Action Selection, Take That The kami expansion adds new elements to the game, increasing the number of possible variations. I strongly advise adults to play this game; it's a little too difficult for children, and the seppuku suicide action used to gain victory points or improve honor is a little too dark for children. I've had a lot of fun with this game with everyone I've played it with. I like Shogun a lot, but I think this is far superior. Another aspect that keeps this game fun is the diplomacy-like ability to form alliances that benefit you in the game, or to break alliances in order to advance your own game. It gets 5 out of 5 stars from me!.

Figures are excellent, but the box is mutilated

The box was nearly shattered when it arrived. It's a shame because it goes well with the monster expansion and looks good on the shelf. Although the packaging tape caused some additional damage, the cards and kami cards are still sealed. The figures are also in order. They're also pretty cool to watch in action. Except for the box, everything looks fantastic.

Amazing attention to detail in this product

When it arrived, I double-checked that none of the pieces had been damaged, as some of them are delicate. It was perfect! No problem at all. This is a fantastic addition to the game, and in my opinion, a MUST HAVE.
