This charger is for a 12V battery, Patricia.br> On a 6V battery, it will not work.
In the LED light, the charging process is visible. br>br>The LED should be green when the charger is plugged into a wall outlet and the battery is disconnected. This means the charger is operational and drawing power from the house. br>br>Once the charger is connected to a charged battery, the LED should turn off, change colors, or dim. This indicates that the battery is charging or receiving power. br>br>Once the battery has been charged for a short period of time, the LED will turn green. This does not imply that the battery has reached its full capacity. Allowing the full 16-hour period is still recommended. It nearly burned down our house after only two months. This was a replacement for the original, which had only lasted a year. This one, as well as an original for a different Peg Perego vehicle, were plugged into a power outlet. When quickly pulled out, this replacement started shooting flames and left the prongs in the outlet. We were standing near it at the time, so it's a good thing we weren't filing an insurance claim and an Anazon review at the same time. I'm afraid to order another, but I can't use just one charger for all of my vehicles. Unfortunately, we've passed the return/exchange deadline.
This is a picture of. The head is much bigger in person than it appears in the photo. The item pictured is the one we were replacing. Even after 15 hours of charging a new battery, the amber light never turned green, but a Volt Ohm meter test revealed that the battery was ready. I assume the amber to green "charged" LED function on the one I received is faulty because it made it around several blocks at high speed with plenty of room to spare. I'll just set a timer because it's not ideal to put my child through their Peg not working again while I'm going through the return process.
I got it yesterday, installed it in my Peg Perego John Deere tractor overnight, and checked it this morning to see if the green light was on- The tractor has been fully charged and is operating normally.
This charger, as well as a, were purchased. It was only a one-year relationship. Last summer, I purchased this charger as well as a new battery for a Peg Perego John Deere Gator. It was used for about a month before being put away for the winter. The charger has ceased to function. If we charge it at my house, the battery still works. residence of the law (different charger).
This is an excellent match for my son's Gator. We misplaced ours, but it was ideal for charging his alligator. Very quick delivery!.
My children used to have a Peg Perego jeep. We removed it from storage now that they are parents. I wasn't sure if we still had the charger, so I went out and purchased a new one. It's a cinch to use. Arrived on time, and I was pleased.
I had to replace one that had been in my possession for three years. There are no problems at all.
