Questions & Answers

Can I use the dragon shield kmc perfect fit to store my MTG commander deck (100 cards)?

The Boulder case does not hold my commander deck because I use resealable DragonShield and Dragon Shield sleeves. It has a capacity of 88 liters. 92 cards. You won't be able to fit the entire deck into Resealable if you use it. The Monolith line, which can easily hold 100 cards, is something I really miss. The Boulder is a good product, but the monolith is my favorite. The Monolith should be brought back!

Is the Flip N Tray big enough to hold the 100 size?

In my ultimate guard archives, I keep four of each of these. The boulder is too large to fit in a flip n tray.

Is this box big enough to hold standard poker cards?

Yes, standard-sized playing cards will fit inside.

Is the Flip N Tray big enough to hold the 100 size?

Yes. If you remove the trays from the 100 ultimate guard flip n tray, the ultimate guard boulder 100s will fit inside. The fit will be tight, and you'll have two trays lying around, but if they're the same count (100 in or 80 in 80), they'll fit in the flip n' try. The boulders will be tighter and more difficult to remove than the trays, but they will fit exactly as they should.

The double-sleeved commander deck was foiled out, so it didn't fit
3/5

It's a nice case, and I would have given it a five-star rating if it had fit my deck.
It was a huge pain just getting my 96% foil, double sleeved commander deck was a huge pain getting my 96% foil, double sleeved commander deck was br>I was a lot closer to ruining my cards than getting it in here. br>Perhaps this is only an issue with foil decks? Not sure. br>I bought it partly because of the positive reviews, and perhaps it will serve a larger purpose in the future. However, because it did not fit at the time, it was a waste of money.

Minor flaws in a solid deck box
4/5

This box is extremely well-made and appears to be capable of withstanding a great deal of abuse. The Dragon Shield sleeves fit perfectly inside, and there's barely enough room for a 100-card deck. For two reasons, the star has been removed: the matte appearance- It's already starting to peel away at the corners and edges, leaving a white residue, and 2. The packaging had been soiled. The bottom flap had a lot of black SOMETHING on it, and the box itself was covered in dust and debris, which is how I discovered the flaking finish. Overall, it's a good product, but I'd like to see them raise the price a dollar or two and upgrade the packaging.

100 sleeved cards for MTG Commander
5/5

Yes, it holds 100 sleeved cards for an MTG commander deck, for those who are curious. There's also some extra room. I didn't double-sleeve them, but I'm sure that's fine. br>br>It was only $11 when I bought it, so it was a good deal. The four small indents that keep the cover in place are the only thing that bothers me. I can see them wearing out over time, but if you need a cheap item to hold 100 cards for a commander deck, this is the one to get.

It doesn't fit the way it's supposed to
3/5

It is estimated that this will hold 100 double-decker buses. Sleeved cards are cards that have been sleeved. Your deck will not fit 100 cards if it contains foil cards or proxies. I had to put my commander in a binder and two cards on the sides of the deck, and even then, some decks don't fit because they have too many foils or proxies. br>br>They needed to make this a few MM bigger and it would be perfect. If they had just aimed for 110 cards instead of exactly 100, I would have given this a five star rating.

I will point out that I do own 18 of these cubes right now and they work for non EDH decks 100%, 5 star rating for that, but I now%.

This case is ideal for most card games
5/5

These were purchased to aid in the sorting of cards for a new board game with multiple decks (I never had this problem with Parcheesi!). Perhaps a game of Monopoly would suffice. They're straightforward, elegant, and long-lasting. They easily split apart, allowing you to draw with one half and discard with the other, which is a nice bonus. They have a capacity of 100 cards and are made of a nice, long-lasting double-sided material. At least horizontally, thick sleeves are required. The sleeves are too stiff in the vertical direction to allow the cases to close completely. That isn't an issue for me because I keep my decks in my backpack, but I could see it being an issue if you were to throw a deck or two into your backpack and run over to your FLGS for a few rounds. Still, it's perfect for what I needed from it!.

Make sure you have the correct measurements
5/5

To protect his decks, my son recently purchased a large quantity of these in various colors. br>br>He strongly advised anyone considering purchasing this to double-check the measurements and make sure that your cards, including their covers, will fit inside the case. There isn't much wiggle room, so if you aren't paying attention, you may need to purchase additional cases or card covers. br>br>These can easily be thrown into a backpack and carried wherever you want. Your cards are safe with them. The cards fit snugly into the case, which I like because they don't move around and get bent.

With Dragon Shield Matte sleeves, it will not fit 100 double-sleeved cards
4/5

Although the onyx Boulder is attractive and compact, it does not accommodate 100 double-sleeved cards in Dragon Shield Matte sleeves. 100 cards crammed into the Boulder is simply too small to store them comfortably and safely. Most unfortunate is that even an extra 1 or 2 mm of space when double sleeving with Dragon Shield would likely solve this problem and provide an otherwise excellent box. br>br>UPDATE: br>br> I still had the box, so I decided to give it a shot with a new deck sleeved in the same Dragon Shield Matte, but with KMC inner sleeves instead of Dragon Shield's own inner sleeves. These appear to be just thin enough to fit a 100-card double-sleeved deck into the box snugly. As a result, for this box, I recommend using KMC inner sleeves and Dragon Shield Matte sleeves.

Our cards didn't fit in the case, but it was still a lovely product! My husband and I were both disappointed when we discovered that our double-sleeved Magic cards did not fit neatly in the case
4/5

We were unable to secure the case and were only able to add approximately 65 double-sleeved cards. I believe you'll need to purchase card sleeves from the same manufacturer as the Deck Case. The Deck Cases we bought will be returned to us. br>br>This company does not manufacture the double sleeves we use to protect our character sleeves. They're 69 mm x 94 mm in size. If you want to protect your character sleeves with your own outer sleeves, I recommend measuring them before buying this Deck Case. Perhaps Yu-Gi-Oh! cards, which are smaller and thinner. would be a perfect fit. br>br>The Deck Case is a stunning piece of artwork with vibrant colors that is well-suited to protecting your prized deck. Simply make sure it will fit by measuring it.
