Questions & Answers

Is it a foregone conclusion that it will lead to an ex?

On an EX, one out of every six packs is pulled. Because it's an average, you could buy six packs and get none, or six packs and get one from each. The adventure and mystery that comes with opening packs is what makes it so enjoyable.

What is the size of a pack of cards?

In normal packs, there are ten, and in Detective Pikachu packs, there are four.

Is there a code for these that can be entered online?

When purchasing from The Awesome Couple, we use packs numbered XY through current, and each pack contains a code.

Are these new packs, or do they date back a few years?

I'm sure they aren't all from the same time period. I believe the oldest cards pulled by my son were from 2011 or 2012, but I am not sure. Overall, it was a good buy for us because he got some cool ones that he didn't have before.

Packs that have been resealed! Warning - You're about to make a resealable pack purchase! Only two of the packs in the image were received, as well as three detective Pikachu packs that were not advertised in the imaging
3/5

In comparison to store-bought booster packs, the packaging on all booster packs is off center, making it difficult to open. The packs aren't even cut evenly, and one of them has a hair in it! I ordered two of these and received neither an ex nor a gx, indicating that they had been resealed and weighed. If you're a collector, this isn't worth your time or money.

It was disappointing
3/5

My 7- After reading the description and anticipating at least some valuable cards, a year old bought three packs with his hard-earned chore money. After waiting two weeks for them to arrive (we are military personnel stationed overseas), he sobbed bitterly, saying: "Every single one of them is a weak Pokémon. " " Neither of the packs contained any EX or other unique Pokémon. I understand that there is no guarantee, but it was heartbreaking to see your child cry and ask if he could get his money back. I would recommend changing the product's description.

Some of my packs had obvious reseals, were not centered, and even had pieces cut out of them! Inside, the cards were flipped in different directions, and to no one's surprise, there was not a single good card among the five orders.

I'm undecided about whether I should be angry or delighted. So I bought these because I thought they were a good deal. Like many others who have posted on here, I too have noticed some tampering with the product; in one of the packs, there was no energy card at all, which isn't a big deal because I've collected enough energy cards over the years. Unless you get a holo energy, however, all packs contain at least one energy card. I also received three rare cards from the same pack. Is this something that bothers me? Not in the least. However, I'm pretty sure someone weighed two of the packs to ensure I didn't get a rare holo like one of the posters on here. I'm not likely to return to this store. As a result of the shady situation. This has taught me a valuable lesson. I did get some cards that I needed, but I would have preferred to get an honest pack rather than one that had been tampered with.

Sham! These were purchased for my grandson, who we are raising after his mother died of radiation poisoning complications

Because we were given full guardianship on this particular day, we had a Gotcha day dinner. He is a Pokémon fanatic! We noticed that the cards had been resealed when he opened them up. There were none that were even close to being good! That means the seller got rid of all of the good ones! He was completely dissatisfied, and I could tell he was disappointed that there was nothing special! BUY FROM THIS SELLER AT YOUR RISK! EVER!.

*** RECENT ADDITIONAL INFORMATION *** SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GET IT SOMEWHERE ELSE! So, for $10, I figured I'd take a chance and see what I could come up with

It's half the fun to have no idea which cards or pack you'll get. I wasn't expecting much in terms of cards, but I was hoping for something from the Black/White era, so I got two packs of XY Roaring Skies and one pack of XY Primal Clash. Both of which I could have purchased at my local toy store, so that was a letdown. The only valuable item among them was a reverse rare Banette. As a result, I can't say whether or not they're weighted. It's possible I just had bad luck when it came to pulling. Perhaps you should give them the benefit of the doubt and try again later. 3/16/16 - 3/16/16 - 3/16/16 - 3/16/16 - 3/16/16 - 3/16/16 - 3/16/16 - I made the decision to give these sellers another chance. Since I've started collecting, I've developed an interest in the coins and pins that can be found in some booster packs and packs. So this time I bought (2) Three Random Booster Packs from VGMX, with the promise of an extra coin and promo/holofoil card, assuming that it would be three random packs, a coin, and a promo from various sets or previous boosters or whatever had already been opened and distributed for sale. All of my "random" packs turned out to be Breakthrough because of the two blisters I received. Given that returning the packages would almost certainly cost me half as much as receiving them, I decided to just accept that they weren't random and open them to see what I got. Aside from the holo promos that came with the blisters, I pulled two reverse rares from the packs. Something didn't seem right, but I figured weight boosters couldn't be real, right? 3/30/16 - 3/30/16 - 3/30/16 - 3/30/16 - 3/30/16 - 3/30/16 I bought a gram scale to weigh the packs I bought from different stores and sellers to see which places were the safest to buy cards from, in the hopes of solving the mystery once and for all. I made the decision to give it ONE LAST GO. So I went to Swift Buy and bought three packs of Three Random Boosters, for a total of nine packs. They arrived today, and to be honest, I'm surprised I was so optimistic. But I knew I was screwed when I opened it and saw that my "random" boosters were in packs of three, resulting in three packs of two XY Base Set and one Flashfire with almost identical art. Nonetheless, I felt obligated to do my duty and weighed each pack. It goes like this: br>br>X/Y Base with Yvetal Art = 18. br>br>X/Y Base with Yvetal Art = 18. X/Y Base + Yvetal Art = 18 gramsbr>X/Y Base + Yvetal Art = 5 gramsbr>X/Y Base + Yvetal Art = 5 gramsb X/Y Base + Yvetal Art = 4 gbr>X/Y Base + Yvetal Art = 18 gbr> X/Y Base + Yvetal Art = 4 gbr>X/Y Base + Yvetal Art = 18 gbr> X/Y Base + Blastoise Art = 3 gbr>X/Y Base + Blastoise Art = 18 gbr>X/Y Base + Blastoise Art = X/Y Base with Venosaur Art = 18 gramsbr>X/Y Base with Venosaur Art = 5 gramsbr>X/Y Base with Venosaur Art = 5 grams Flashfire w/ Mega Charizard X art = 19 gramsbr>Flashfire with Mega Charizard X art = 4 gramsbr>Flashfire with Mega Charizard X art = 4 grams Flashfire with Mega Charizard X art = 19 gramsbr>Flashfire with Mega Charizard X art = 8 gramsbr>Flashfire with Mega Charizard X art = 8 gramsbr 7 gbr>Flashfire with Pyroar art = 19 gbr>Flashfire without Pyroar art = 7 gbr>Flashfire without Pyroar art 7 gramsbr>br>It goes without saying that I was upset when I saw those figures. So I opened them all, and with EVERY SINGLE NON-HOLO RARE I received, I became even angrier. I bought nine because I wanted to rule out the possibility that I was just having bad luck with the dice. When it comes to Pokémon cards, one EX/Ultra rare is expected every four packs, MAYBE five if you have a bad day. But consuming nine packs in one sitting and having nothing to show for it? It just doesn't add up statistically. If you include my other two previous purchases, that's a total of 18 BOOSTERS FOR NOTHING! br>br>Now, I'll admit that the first time I bought from Swift Buy (and all I got was the reverse rare Banette), I simply had bad luck with the pulls. It IS possible to lose weight with weight boosters, despite the fact that it is difficult. But I decided to give VGMX a chance. However, after purchasing 9 packs (for a total of 12) from Swift Buy with nothing but non-alcoholic beverages, I can back it up with holo rares - with absolute assurance - I'm here to tell you that these packs aren't at all random. They clearly select the best packs and then resell the duds to unsuspecting online buyers, most likely in the hopes that an unsuspecting parent or grandparent will purchase them for their children and never file an Amazon complaint. br>br>Well, you're not fooling me, Swift Buy. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THEM! br>br> If you want pins, only buy from VGMX. blisters are provided for free. My advice to you is to save your money and shop at your neighborhood stores. Alternatively, you could go on eBay. From now on, that is where I will be.

The packs were clearly weighed, as only one good card was found in 15 packs

Do Not Waste Your Money. I purchased a total of five so-called "so-called" products. 3 packs were chosen at random. They were all XY, XY primal, or XY Flashfire, and the packs were clearly weighed, as only one good card was found in 15 packs. Do Not Waste Your Money!.

Make sure you don't throw your money away
3/5

To begin with, the cards are genuine, which is a good thing, but they are clearly weighed and rigged. I only had two reverse holos left after 9 pouches. That is all there is to it. There were no holo rares, and only 2/9 of the cards had a reverse holo. You should save your money and go somewhere else to shop.
