I have two of these tubes and have carried them to school in my backpack for use during breaks with no problems. It is entirely dependent on how squished your backpack becomes. I'm not sure how well these would hold up under 50 pounds of pressure. Compared to cylindrical tubes, these are far more durable. I hope this information is useful!

If you're new to CCGs or LCGs and want a good first-time playmat tube, this is a good option. I like how the tube doesn't roll because of its prism shape, and the material it's made of is durable. The biggest issue I have with it is that when you put your playmat in it, the tube's edges scrape against your playmat. You'll hear the scraping noise even if you're not looking directly at it, which irritates me because I like to keep my playmat in the best possible condition. It is, however, a reasonably priced playmat tube that does the job, so if you don't mind the disadvantages I mentioned, go for it.
Most standard-sized gaming playmats will fit inside this tube. It's not really a tube because it's shaped like a triangle, which prevents it from rolling off a table, which I like, and it's clear to show off whatever playmat you're holding inside. It is simple to remove the cap. br>br>Because the plastic is a little thin, I wouldn't recommend throwing the tube around, but it should hold up well in a messenger bag or backpack.
I used to roll and carry my playmat around like a homeless Planeswalker before I bought this tube. Now I can proudly and stylishly transport my mat in this protective playmat tube. It was always a pain to juggle card supplies from my car to my friends' kitchen table, only to have my mat unroll when I dropped it. Thanks to this wonderful product, I'm glad to report that an annoyance has been solved. The triangular design prevents my mat from rolling away from me. Now that I've invested in this tube, I'll never have to deal with clumsy playmats again. The value for money is excellent. If you've been debating whether or not to buy this product, now is the time to do so.
These are great for some of my playmats, but they are a lot thicker than most normal playmats, so these tubes aren't wide enough, even when I roll them as tight as I can, but for standard store bought ultra pro playmats, these are perfect if you want to keep them in good condition and not have a lot of wear and tear from being carried around a lot, this is the way to go. I have a pack that I carry all my stuff around in, and these tubes.
This tube was created with the intention of not rolling off the table. It delivers in spades. Many people seem to be claiming that the material is brittle, which may or may not be true. Those who take good care of their belongings, on the other hand, should not have any problems with this (obviously). Simply store it in your bag, remove your mat as needed, and replace the tube in the bag. On a table, mat tubes (those plastic fold-up mats) take up a lot of space. Our tables aren't particularly large! ), so what's the point of leaving it there in the first place? br>br>One thing I noticed about this tube is that it has an odd odor when you first open it. This isn't a deal-breaker by any means. br>br>In addition, I paid $4 for one of these tubes at a game store. On Amazon, I assume you're paying for convenience. br>br>I'll definitely buy more of these for my other mats.
This product surprised me because it appears to be very strong and durable. I like that I now have a place to keep all of my playmats in one place. Some customers complained that the mat didn't fit well in this tube, which surprised me. I'm afraid I have to disagree. It is extremely well-fitting. I immediately ordered a few more after seeing how much I enjoyed it. My only concern is why do the prices for different colored caps differ so much? Regardless, I can't say enough good things about this product; it fills a void and will aid in the organization of my game closet.
Water resistant, with a good seal at the opening, and a thicker, more durable outer wall - This is the type of plastic used to make extremely brittle but durable medical instruments and tote bags. Clear as a bell, but with a smidgeon of ambiguity. br> Ripples run horizontally down the tube from top to bottom, (which is only a plus in terms of the tube's rigid design). This tube can withstand a lot more punishment than your playmat. It's also bendable; if I grip the tube tightly and squeeze hard enough, I can get about a 1/2" to 1" bend out of it before it collapses or cracks. I thought it was well worth the money I paid for it, despite my reservations about spending so much money on a "plastic triangle tube. " / I'd give it a five-star rating overall. Thank you Monster Protectors for your help!.
It's not going to crush like a box. To keep your mats clean, make sure they are clear and cleanable. Love it. It was a perfect match. Durable. Crush-resistant. It does not move around. It has a lot of space and can hold a lot of stuff. In my experience, both ultrapro and inked playmats fit nicely inside, and they're clear so you can see if it's dirty on the inside.
