Citadel Black MTG Buff Counters Expansion Set of 30 Metal Tokens - with Velvet Drawstring Pouch, Antique Gold & Copper Finish Metal Tokens, Magic: The Gathering

These cards are completely useless in Magic the Gathering. I bought them in the hopes of keeping track of all my buffs, but they made me look like a fool. The majority of buffs have a 1/ 1 or a - rating. Not 1/0, but 1 or something similar. Anything out of the ordinary that has nothing to do with strength and toughness appears in an instant and vanishes as quickly as it appeared. I couldn't use these at all, and I'm not sure where else I could use them, besides maybe stack four - I lost $20 in a matter of 0 minutes, so I put a 0 next to it. br>br>I'm disappointed because I recently returned to MTG and thought I was adding something interesting to my collection when, in fact, I now have a cool bag full of random numbers that have no bearing on my game. Sad face. Sorry for the harsh reality, but I don't want anyone else to make the same mistake I did by purchasing something without giving it more thought.

These tokens are almost a requirement if you're playing a token/swarm deck that gives out power and/or defense buffs nearly every round. These guys are well-pressed, have a nice weight to them, and are simple to read. br>br>A hexagon with an arrow as a suggestion for your next product (see really bad picture): Then I'll be able to use those as my token creatures and surround it with these plates. br>br>Anyway, I'm very pleased with the product and plan to use it frequently. br>Make it as big as you can.

These are fantastic for MTG, and I purchased them primarily because of the 5-star rating. The purpose is 10/10, but the 1/0 - Using the -, I got a 0/ 1 result. 1/0 - 1 will suffice for something, but these are just the right size; people have commented on how light they are, but they feel great for their size; yes, they are a little light, lighter than an average American penny or dime, but do they really need to be heavier? It's not like they'll fly away; if they do, I'm sure your cards will have flown away long before these. If I ever need these again, I'll buy them again!.

They work with the other counters I bought from a different company that sells them for a few dollars less. While drying, they left a brownish residue on my palms after I washed them with soap and hot water to disinfect them. Oh, and your cheaply printed on label, which I peeled off with my fingernail, is too small. Your competitors are offering a larger bag with more tokens for a lower price. So yours have more counters on them than mine. I'll side with your competitors if they use plus 5/5 and plus 10/10 counters.

For the time being, I'm giving it three stars because there was an error, and I'll have to return it and purchase another. I only received 20 of the 10/10 (5/5) tokens and none of the 0/1 tokens.

I enjoy using counters on my MTG cards while playing. These partially fill a void in my life. Unfortunately, there are no "non-alcoholic" versions of these. On them, there are "uniform" counters. There are no 2/ 1, 1/ 0, or other counters, for example. Aside from that, I like the material and how well it fits together.

I bought all of these in the hopes of making it easier to spot buffs, but it actually makes things more difficult to manage. I still like these and plan to use them in the future, and I'm hoping that they will become easier to manage as time goes on.

It does what it says on the tin and is extremely versatile due to the negatives on the back side.
