It's well worth the money! This was purchased to complement an autographed playmat that I purchased for my boyfriend. When I first opened it, I was concerned that it would not be durable enough to hold such a costly playmat. I knew it would be perfect after opening it and inspecting it; it has the same level of protection as the hard plastic ones. This is without a doubt the smoothest and sharpest playmat I've ever seen. The color options are the only drawback. I'm hoping that this company will expand the number of color options available in the future.
The magnets are not particularly powerful. If you don't roll your mat up tightly, it will continue to pop open. The fabric is extremely gentle. It serves its purpose, but it could be more effective.
This carry case for a playmat pleasantly surprised me. The product appears to be of excellent quality. Notch. The glueing, construction, and shape are all excellent. The inside is well-applied felt-like material. The Paramint logo is understated and tasteful. The graphene-based material The black color makes it appear to be a high-end case, and the magnetic clips secure it shut. br>br>In most cases, I use cylindrical cases that can hold at least two people. This case may lose some people because it only allows for three playmats at a time. Unfortunately, it can only hold one playmat and won't close properly. If you want to protect a valuable or collectible playmat, this is acceptable. As it happens, I have an autographed Felicia Day playmat that will fit perfectly in this case. I'm also concerned that the playmat will be too tight inside the case and will be difficult to straighten if left there for too long. br>br>In the end, if you plan on carrying or storing more than one at a time in a single case, I might advise you to look elsewhere. This is great to have if you only have one playmat or want to protect it.
It's all in the title. For MTG, I have quite a few play mats. I suppose you could say I am a collector because I have far more than I will ever require. Having said that, I have a set of very nice collector mats that are signed by the artist who created the official art that is printed on the mats. I'm looking for a case that will protect the mat while also allowing it to be easily stored. Both are beautifully represented in this case. I'm used to round, plastic cases that roll around the table and break after a while. There will be no more rolling mat cases with this case because it has three flat sides. When not in use, this case can also be folded flat. That's a useful feature for saving space. Overall, it's my new favorite case, and I'm on a mission to replace all of my other cases with triangular versions. Just get one and you'll understand what I'm talking about.
I use two Paramint playmats. Even though they are supposed to be the same size, this case fits one of them well but barely fits the other; my red mat's ends crinkle a little bit when placed in this case. That says more about the playmats' sizing consistency than it does about this case, but since the case and mats are all from the same manufacturer, I thought I'd mention it. br>br>While the case is on the pricey side, it feels and looks good, and the magnetic closure is effective. I wish it had a slightly larger girth so it could hold two rolled mats instead of just one, as I usually travel with two.
This is too small for BOTH of my player mats, which I have. My individual one is too long, and my skinny longer one is too thick. What makes you think it's too small for two mat sizes? I'm not sure what it's supposed to be used for. A paper- slender half- what is the dimensions of the player mat? br>br>In any case, get a real case that can hold a full-size mat instead of this one.
the case for the playmat With the help of two strong magnets, this playmat case folds out into a triangular shape. It has a slick and professional look and feel to it. A single standard-size mat will fit snugly in the space. You'll just want to make sure any you intend to use with the case aren't slightly larger than the norm, as I had one that didn't quite make it (but was noticeably larger than my others). Protect a favorite mat with this elegant product.
The Paramint MatShield, Durable Playmat Case is ideal for transporting a playmat when you need to play a game that requires one. Its only drawback is that it is quite large, making storage with the playmat case difficult. It's great for protecting a playmat while traveling, but it's not practical to keep it on a shelf. The Paramint MatShield, Durable Playmat Case is still a good way to store a playmat for later use.
