The quality of products has declined. This is a product I own five of. It appears that the new design is wrapped in inferior material, that the stitching is substandard, and that it is assembled with less attention to detail than the original. If you hold both models in your hands, you can tell the difference. Your product has the original, superior design if your box has a stamp like the ultimate guard on the left side. I would grade that particular product as a 5 star. It would be a concern if they did not come in official packaging, with the same paperwork, indicating that I have bought 3 counterfeits.
You have to check out this deck box! It replaced BCW, which I was using prior to getting this. Though I liked the design, I was not a big fan of the big dragon logo on the front. The quality of the material felt cheap too. This deck box was owned by my friend, so I knew I could have it, too. For instance, I play Yugioh, and each of the deck boxes I have shows I have $60 total for my deck (40 cards for my main deck, 15 cards for my extra deck, and 15 cards for my Likewise, I have BCW dividers for separating the deck into different sections.
