It's been a while since I put this together, but if my memory serves me correctly, they go under the brackets that connect the seat to the hover board and serve as a cushion to protect the hover board from damage.
Our seat cracked in less than a year, right where the screws secure the seat to the underside. I'm attempting to replace a seat but am being given the runaround. They are asking me to write a 5-star review after which they will send me a replacement seat. My 11-year-old son, who weighs around 70 pounds, prefers to ride in our grassy yard.

It's very simple to put together and ride.
When we finally got it together, the kids were ecstatic - It fits all of my kids and many slender adults. br>br>Use the youtube instructions because the ones they send are horrible. br>br> My three children are ages eight, twelve, and thirteen. Myself and a few of our college-aged cousins have also tried them on and found them to be quite comfortable; for the record, my children are reasonably fit and of average size for their age. My youngest is 4'2 and almost 50 pounds, and my oldest is 5'6 112 pounds. In terms of adult height, the tallest was 5'9 130 pounds. My 5ft tall middle child can still extend her legs fully, but my oldest and all of us adults are 5'6 and taller, so we must ride with our knees bent, which is fine for our small fun rides. br>Agesbr> The college kids had a blast on Christmas day, so it's suitable for all ages, but they're unlikely to buy one. We only have two, and my younger two use them the most, but when he isn't at a practice, my 13-year-old son enjoys joining in the fun as well.
The vendor went out of their way to ship new complete parts to make me more than whole after I had a minor problem with a wheel shroud that arrived cracked, which didn't affect performance but did add noise. In today's world, this is extremely rare. I would recommend it and purchase it again.
The Kart arrived partially assembled, and when I put the remaining pieces together, I noticed that it was digging into the foot rests when my son rode on it. It turns out that the hoverboard's metal parts are bent and not flush, which causes the metal to dig into the foot pads. When I called Amazon, they said they could only refund the kart, but I inquired about the hoverboard because it had caused damage (see photos). The representative was unable to provide any additional information. I don; I'm not sure she got what I was saying. A sup was requested. It was a huge let down. I understand the go-kart issue, but this product ruined my son's brand new hoverboard (which was a Bday gift and not cheap). What a letdown! This product was clearly assembled by someone, and despite being clearly defective, it was still sent out.
This hoverboard storage rack is amazing. I was terrified to stand on my hoverboard when I first got it, so I drove it very slowly. When I was playing with it, I was extremely nervous, and my feet hurt afterward. So, for the most part, I just ignored it, but now I've discovered a way to convert my hoverboard into a kart! I'm ecstatic, and I accepted it as soon as it arrived. Finally, there is no need for me to stand on it. My hoverboard has an 8-inch wheel, and this rack is perfect for it. If I had to pick a flaw, I would say that the seat is a little too small for me. Maybe I'm a little too big for my own good. Overall, I'm quite pleased with the rack. However, you should be cautious; you must learn how to control it and avoid driving too quickly; my hoverboard has a lot of power, and if I push it too hard, it will go very, very fast; I still believe it is dangerous. The bolts that hold the Left and Right control arms together are excessively long. To secure them, I needed to add an additional 8 washers. The Velcro strap that holds your hoverboard to the frame rubs against the ground. They stopped after one ride. This is why the box contains four additional straps. What should we do if all of the straps fail? The longevity of these kart attachments was not considered when they were created. It's entertaining to ride until you run out of straps to replace them with. br>br>Hey, if you're reading this, you need to take care of this. My kids have been riding, and the hoverboard will come loose with them on it because the straps from underneath have been grazed away. I made sure that nothing was dragging by securing the straps extremely tightly. It snaps, however.
The concept is great, but the Velcro straps keep breaking when you put it on the hover board. In addition, unless you remove the entire unit from the hoverboard, it will not turn off. I've tried it on several hoverboards and had the same problem. Before you buy, make sure you do your research.
