It took a lot of effort to put it together. Wow, that was extremely difficult and well worth the effort. A pry bar is included in this kit to help with installation. To get this thing going, you'll need gorilla-like strength and a crew that will support and believe in you. It took a lot of effort for me to get it on because I am 6' and 220 pounds. To remove the old one and replace it, I used a spray bottle filled with soap. Some people recommend using a long flat blade to help get the new one on, but I found it to be inconvenient. I started with the back one and will save the front one for another day because it took me forty minutes to complete and I was completely drenched when I was finished. What matters is that you take action. You can do it, I know it. I was about to give up when I tried a different approach, as shown in the photo above. Originally, I was attempting to pry the will onto the tire, but I turned it over and began prying it on from the top. It only took a little more prying to get it perfectly aligned once I had it on. You'll be able to do it if I can. Now go ahead and place your order and put it on. My gotrax gxl v2 is what I used.

It took some time to get the tires on my Hover 1 scooter to work, but the key was to boil each tire for at least 20 minutes one at a time. Then I sprayed the rim with dawn soap and put it on.

There was no way I was going to be able to do it. I took it to a couple of tire and auto repair shops. Nobody was willing or able to assist me in bike shops or repair shops. So I ended up just cutting the original tire off with a box cutter. If it was that difficult to remove, I figured I should replace it with something that wouldn't go flat again, but I was afraid I wouldn't be able to get this solid tire on. However, I was taken aback by how quickly it went on. The tricks are boiling the tire for about 10 minutes and using dish soap, as others have mentioned. You'll be back on the road in no time if you follow these two pieces of advice.

I don't have anything to compare these to because they're my first solid tires. Here are a few observations I made about them. After I boiled the tires, it was a lot easier. After that, I didn't require any tools. They were able to continue without difficulty. I gave it three stars because I thought the ride could have been better. It doesn't ride as smoothly as a tubed tire, and it almost feels like you're riding on flats. You'll understand what I'm talking about if you've ever had a flat tire and continued to ride your scooter. When compared to rollerblading and ice skating, the handling is extremely sharp. When it comes to turning, tubed tires are better. These tires are much more responsive, but because they aren't as large as tubed tires, I believe battery life suffers as a result. The rate of acceleration appears to be slower. I suppose you gain peace of mind knowing you won't have to worry about flats, but ride comfort suffers as a result.

My M365 rear tire had a puncture. It was replaced with the scooter's original tire and inner tube. It turned out to be a challenging installation. I damaged the inner tube during installation and didn't realize it until I attempted to fill it with air. br>br>I knew what I was getting myself into with these solid tires, but I didn't want to deal with another flat because these e-bike tires are so durable. It's a pain to replace scooter tires. br>br>I was pleased to find a good-sized tire pry bar included with these tires, but there were no instructions. Watch a few YouTube videos and read a few reviews to get a better idea of how to put these tires on. I used the following tools: br>br> br>10 zip tiesbr>mechanix glovesbr>general purpose greasebr>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br
1. Remove the old tire, inner tube, and brake disc completely (as shown in YouTube videos). Grease the rim's inner portion.
2. I microwaved one of these solid tires for three one-minute intervals to warm it up. I had to handle the tire with gloves because it was extremely hot and smoking.
3. Place the hot tire on the rim and begin to press it down. To secure it to the rim, use the zip ties. It will be extremely difficult to get the last third of the tire on the rim. Use zip ties to secure the tire to the rim that you pressed on. To put it on, use the pry bar that comes with it. br>A few times, I scratched up what appears to be the powder coat on the rims. There's nothing that a little touch-up paint won't fix. br>br>I still haven't replaced the M365 tire on my front wheel. It's something that I'm looking forward to. br>br>Overall: I put Slime in it to keep from getting a flat while riding. br>br> For M365 owners, I would recommend these tires, but be prepared to sweat. You can do it if you have your tools ready for that hot tire, whether you boil it or microwave it. Never, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever.

However, by the time they arrived, my second daughter's front wheel had also developed a puncture, so I simply replaced both front tires on both of my daughters' scooters today. I tried soaking them in hot water first, but then followed their instructions and heated them in the microwave for three minutes. Make sure to use the bar that comes with it to secure it. It won't be easy, and it will test you, but you'll get it done eventually. Best of luck;.
