You are right. Turning the wheels is accomplished by leaning with the handle from side to side.
Plastic is the only material on the deck. Steel is the material that makes up the handle bar shaft. A handle bar shaft can be removed so that it can be better stored.
It says 60 pounds, but my daughter is still riding it (and she loves she weighs around

As a result of leaning It's a bit of a joke how the steering works on this. You may want to look elsewhere for a scooter since it has a terrible turning radius. I would not buy this scooter unless your kid just wants to go straight. It's been two years since we moved to our new home The wheel was too heavy for the young girl to steer, and it was impossible for her to turn in a 90-degree arc. As well as the wheels, they were quite I decided to take her out on a Micro Mini, and she hopped on without hesitation and was riding all over the place.
It's perfect for them. Since I bought it about one year ago, I've never had any problems with it. It was a present I gave my son last year, on the occasion of his fifth birthday. I thought this would be a good way for him to learn how to use a scooter since he showed a lot of interest in them. This was the best, it was durable, sturdy, there was almost no assembly required, so I started right away. Our path to the park next to our home has a trail that is hard plastic, but we have used it on the not so even pavement and rocks that we found on the trail. I'm happy with it, because it seems to be holding up well, because my son's little sister who is currently 4 years old also enjoys playing with it almost This is a great recommendation!.
It will take some time to get used to the handles since they won't 'turn' right or left, but it is a new way of riding the scooter. The scooters of the last two years have been in constant use by my kids. They are the perfect size for a 2 year old and an almost 4-year-old. The product was great! I would buy it.
This is not worth taking to a Salvation Army, it will be disposed of in a landfill.
Wearing off of the rear wheel rubber results in the wheel becoming unusable. My grandson enjoys riding it, and this is the second one I have bought for him. The first bicycle he had lasted several months, and the current one only lasted a month. He was 3 when he had the first. I have him ride it four days a week at my house. As he is only 4, it seems that this product is of inferior quality. This is not a book I recommend you buy.
I bought this as a birthday gift for my daughter who is 6 years old. That's the only thing she can think of! There is one downside to this scooter, which is that the handle (the whole rod/handles) sometimes comes off because it doesn't click into the scooter's base securely. While it is a quick fix, it can still be annoying if you are riding the scooter and pull up on the handle, as the handle.
It would be so much nicer to have an adult scooter like this! Flows so smoothly and is so easy to operate. 7-year-old received one at the age of 3, and it took him an afternoon to learn how to use Similar to what I did when I was 3, my 5 year old has taken to it and uses it to this day. As a result, we purchased a second one for our 2 year old, who is just learning to scoot a little, and will be able to handle it by The only thing he loves is copying his big brother!.
The scooter is an incredibly sturdy machine that is fun and easy to ride. Due to its adjustable height, it should last a long time. There were only a few things I didn't like about it, like the There is no free wheel on the front of the vehicle. Consequently, if you want to do a left or right turn, you have to tilt the scooter. It's a little difficult for my 2 year old to control that. I think it is a good game for kids in the middle school range.
