The following is a statement many have made before There are defective parts on this bike. This is how my five year old daughter wanted to have it happen on her birthday after being super excited about getting a bike. Spend the little bit more to get an actual good bike, or you can go to a bike store where they will assemble it for you. In that case, if you encounter an issue, you can at least address it when you purchase the item.
It's a good bike. It's relatively easy to assemble as you only have to do the front tire, handlebar, Pedaling makes a loud clicking noise when the bike is in use, and I rant about it. With each cycle of the chain, these events occurred. The chain had been installed too tight from the factory based on research I did. You can create a bit more slack for the chain by loosening the real wheel bolts and easing the wheel forward a little bit. We solved the problem in this way. You can avoid having the chain fall off during use by giving it only the slack it needs. In summary, this is a decent bike for the price. No superstar quality, but it is good enough for kids.
I love how the bike looks and my son was thrilled with Pedals and brakes are working well on the bike, so he can ride it without any problems. I found assembling the bike to be very simple. Our son's price was a factor in our decision to buy this bike. We did not want to spend a lot of money on a bike he won't be able to ride without training wheels and will likely outgrow soon.
Assembling the body was impossible because the body came with child-off chips in the paint and assembly instructions was not provided. I was able to put it together myself thanks to my good organizational skills. There were a lot of paint chips that I was really disappointed in. had a great deal of significance. You can see a picture of one of the spots at the bottom of the post. Besides the three that were bad, there were three others.
This bike was given to me by my five-year-old daughter A son of a certain age. Generally, the look of it is very nice, but when I tried to put on the handlebars, it was quite difficult. It required quite a bit of adjusting before I finally got the handlebars to turn back. He had to go back and forth in order to steer the bike. I think there was some paint or some other obstruction on the handlebars. Finally, we got it working after a bit of twisting and adjusting. Also, the petals don't stay on as well as they should. In order for them not to fall off constantly, you have to put the petals on pretty tight.
He did a great job setting it up This bike is an absolute hit with our son and putting it together was easy. The only complaint I have is that the training wheels are janky and are already starting to fall apart. My son rides his bike about two miles a day. I only head to the gym 3 times a week to ensure that it doesn't get Aside from its training wheels, this bike is a good value for its.
As soon as the bike arrived, the front brakes didn't seem to work, so I had to take it back. It was obvious to me that the cable on the bike was frayed because I have some knowledge about bikes. There was a problem with the housing and cable that prevented the brake from releasing. I want to use the bike instead of returning the bike because that's a little tedious. There is a bike shop where I took it. They told me it was best just to get rid of It is only necessary for bmx style bikes to have rear brakes. I did as such. The bike seems to be in good condition besides that, but a frayed cable on a new bike is ridiculous. I don't like it!.
I recommend this bike to anyone over the age of four. For the price, I feel like it is very solidly built. I bought a cheaper brand at Target last year, and it didn't last as long. That's so nice to see a bike for kids without nonsense like character stickers! This orange color is more vibrant than it appears in the picture.
