Yes, the songs and voices are irritating, and you will find yourself singing the songs to yourself in your sleep, but it is well worth it. This toy has become a favorite of my six-month-old. It's one of the few toys with which I can leave her on the floor while doing housework without her becoming bored or irritated. br>On the top side, there are four buttons (circle, triangle, star, and square), each with an animal illustration (circle-triangle-star-square-square-square-square-square-square-square-square-square-square-square-square-square-square-square-square-square triangle, a bird square-faced cow star-gazing cat dog). They make animal noises, sing songs, play musical tunes, count to three, and play games, among other things. My baby loves the sound and lights and presses the buttons repeatedly. On top of that, there's a rattling spinning cylinder. br>On one side, there are spinning letter blocks (A,B,C,D) and on the other, there are spinning shapes. br>Musical instruments (shakers, drum, symbol) are on one side, while a spinning ladybug is on the other. The bottom is plain blue with letters (not a particularly appealing side). br>This toy, as annoying as it is, is entertaining for my baby and teaches her motor skills and cause and effect; I highly recommend it. br>br>UPDATE: Even though my baby is now 16 months old, she still enjoys playing with this toy. It's been a year since it started and it's still going strong. I like how it keeps her attention and is a toy that she can grow with. Over the course of a year of play, it has stood up to all of the dropping, excessive button pressing, and spinning. This activity cube is still one of my top picks. A NEW UPDATE: br>br> My child is now two years old. She's been playing with this toy since she was five years old. She still enjoys singing along to the songs and naming all of the animals, shapes, and colors on the cube. I honestly had no idea when I bought it that it would hold her attention for two years, but it has. This was without a doubt the best toy I've ever purchased.

I don't claim to be a great painter, but I do have a constant obnoxious noise in my ear, which I share with Van Gogh. Unfortunately, I didn't realize until it was too late that the obnoxious noise was coming from the brightly colored pain cube on my ottoman. I admit it should've been obvious that the toy was the source of the music, but to be fair, I've been slowly driven insane by its horrible incantations. Would you like to be told that the cat is in the square and the cow is in the triangle until you have strange zoologically focused geometric dreams? Then this product is ideal for both you and your child! br>br>This gets a - from me. My child probably gives it a rating of 100000 stars, based on his happy squeals and constant use. Vtech's stars are only baby-sized, so he only gets three stars on average. br>br>To go along with this product, I suggest ear plugs and a case of whiskey.

I used to be perplexed as to why parents would buy their children so many noisy plastic toys before they had children. I promised myself that we would not have such things in our home; Rather, our little darling would have a well-curated collection of retro-inspired clothing. Toys made of wood that are inspired and minimalist. Now that I'm a mother, I realize that what parents really want are durable, engaging toys that will stimulate and entertain their children. It turns out that these items are frequently made of plastic and are extremely loud. My 9-month-old, on the other hand, adores this toy and finds it to be more engaging than the majority of her other toys. It's been a lot of fun watching her figure out how to use the buttons and play with the widgets. This toy is inexpensive, safe, and brings her a lot of joy! It appeals to her.

Haha, 5 stars for the baby, 3 stars for the parents. But, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no This cube is one of my baby's favorite toys. It provides her with all of the stimulation she requires, including noise, lights, and moving parts. I turn off the toy if she becomes overly excited, but she still enjoys playing with it.
So. 3 stars. This cube will haunt you, I didn't realize it until my partner pointed it out. It'll seep into your dreams, saturate your unconsciousness, and one day you'll be minding your own business at work, humming about the star's dog. This was one of my favorite cubes when I was younger. Other reviewers said their two-year-old still played with it, so I bought it. My son is six months old. It's going to be my long-term investment. When it comes to baby items, that's difficult to come by. However, I've come to realize how annoying and creepy this cube can be. I occasionally hear it sing to itself late at night. Make a good decision for yourself. If you buy this, make sure to turn it off when the baby isn't playing with it. Alternatively, you can simply turn it off until your child is old enough to play the games it requests. The baby appears to be content in general. I would most likely purchase this item again. Parents, take note.

This table was my daughter's favorite until it stopped working properly. VTech was warned not to last long, and I should have heeded the warning. It does not keep repeating the same sentence over and over again unless a button is pressed. Her VTech activity table is also having issues. VTech "offers" a 3-year warranty, so I contacted them. They said to go through Amazon for this issue because their toys have a six-month warranty. Amazon now advises going through VTech. Both companies have failed to stand behind their products and have provided poor customer service in this regard.
