Selected User Reviews For Infantino Squeeze and Stack Block Set
These are great for stacking, but not for teething or washing because the holes in the blocks retain moisture. We've had these for about three months, and they've developed black mold on the inside; thankfully, I noticed something funny under the light and cut it open, or my one-year-old would've continued to play with them. I'm sad because he loves them otherwise.
We had a lot of fun with these blocks; I just wish they came in a bigger set. The designs aren't particularly appealing on the surface, but the textures are excellent for teething. They aren't particularly squishy and are quite hard, so squeezing them to make them squeak will require adult strength. I was struck in the forehead by one, but I was not bruised or blinded. If they came out with a different design, I'd buy them again to have a nice block set.
in addition to African Grey parrots! According to another reviewer, these aren't really stackable. I'm guessing it's because they're too irregular. The set I received is in excellent condition and stacks well. My African Grey parrot will be able to grab hold of them because there is just enough ridge around the edges. These were purchased to aid in the teaching of colors to my parrot. I'm sure she'll be able to stack them without difficulty.
Our toddler enjoys knawing on the edges of these - They must be soothing to sore gums, and stacking and tossing them around on the floor is entertaining. Best of all, they're soft, so they don't make a loud clattering sound when they land on hard floors, and they don't roll away!.
Each side has a cool raised design that makes it easy to grip. My kids like to hold them, eat them, and throw them around. The only disadvantage is that Because each block has a squeaker with a hole, you can't put them in the dishwasher or submerge them in water. I wasn't aware of this when I purchased them. I wanted something simple to clean, and these must be hand washed if you don't want water to get inside and cause the mold problem. However, I adore these blocks as a whole!.
Previously, I used wooden blocks, but the children would occasionally throw them or try to chew on them. These are easy to sanitize between children with Clorox wipes, and they don't hurt when someone or something is hit by a flying block!.
Perfect little blocks for a small baby who is obsessed with stuffing her mouth with everything. We have a bin full of these, and my daughter enjoys dumping them all out and then picking one to chew on. She isn't quite ready to start building yet, but I like that she will be able to use these for actual block building as she grows older. I also like that this set includes a thick plastic pouch to keep all of the other toys organized. With some hot water and soap, they're also simple to clean in the sink. To prevent water from remaining inside and becoming moldy, I simply plug the holes with glue.
These are a big hit with my daughter. I bought them for her when she was about six months old, and she is now eight months old and enjoys playing with them. They're so soft, which I like. Because of the sharp corners, I was hesitant to give her actual wood blocks, so these are a welcome relief. The only thing I'd "complain" about them is that they squeak when squeezed, which makes my dogs think they're dog toys. But it's not like it's a flaw in the product! Hahaha.
