I find it a lot easier than constantly flipping through a pad, and on the back I duck taped some plastic binder folders to keep the stickers for each scene organized so they don't get lost or mixed up. It was a pain to do, but I'm confident that it will extend the product's life by years, if not decades! This is a big hit with my 22-month-old! br>br>I'll include photos to demonstrate how to extend the life of this product.
These repositionable stickers are fantastic! I followed the advice of a previous reviewer and made them into small packets. I taped two together and sandwiched a piece of cardstock between them. It leaves two pockets for the sticker sheets, which I fold in half and slide into the pockets. They are a hit with my two-year-old and five-year-old! They both spend a lot of time with them. They'd also work well in the car.
This reusable sticker book was purchased as part of a flash sale. The quality, on the other hand, has left me very dissatisfied. br>br>It's a cute concept, and I like how there are so many different backgrounds and stickers to choose from. However, after sticking a few, my daughter lifted the page, and the majority of it immediately fell off. br>br>If I can, I'll probably return the item because what good are reusable stickers if they won't stay on in the first place? Regrettably, I ripped the package open.
Now that my three-year-old is no longer interested in eating stickers, I can give these to my granddaughters once more. br>br>I handed them each two of these books, and they got right to work. The three-year-old places the stickers wherever he wants, whereas the six-year-old is thoughtful but impatient when it comes to placing the stickers. For a couple of days, they were kept entertained. br>br>Melissa and Doug's reusable sticker books are bright, fun, and well-made. I'm going to get a few more of these sticker books before my next trip to see them because they never let me down.
They adore stickers, but I despise scraping and scrubbing them off of our furniture, walls, wood floors, windows, and other surfaces. These REUSABLE stickers have restored my sanity! My daughters' new favorite activity is playing with them. They like to use them on the scene pages in the books, as well as on their mirrors and windows. The stickers themselves are extremely durable and can be repositioned on those surfaces in an infinite number of ways. Because we have furry pets, the stickers don't adhere as well if they've gotten hair, dust, or other contaminants on them, but a quick swipe with a wet wipe (I use antibacterial wipes) makes them as good as new again. The fact that I have to wipe each one off when they get 'dirty' also serves as a deterrent for my daughters from trying to stick them on our furniture, walls, floors, etc. The wide variety of stickers keeps their attention and expands their imagination, making it a great alternative to screen time: ) These activity books come highly recommended by me.
The age of the child is twelve years. Because the plastic stickers (similar to colorforms) can be a choking hazard if your child is younger than the recommended age of three, adult supervision is required. My two-year-old granddaughter does not put things in her mouth, so I can let her play with limited supervision. The larger stickers are easier for younger kids to place. br>br>Each package contains five thicker cardboard background scenes as well as five sheets of reusable stickers. (The variety of stickers included can be seen in the detailed images. ) Each package can be combined to create a unique experience that will keep you entertained for hours! To prevent the back grounds from being bent, you may want to attach them to a heavier card board backing, but this isn't required. The back ground pads and sticker pages can be removed from the box. When removing pages from the pad, be careful not to tear the page where it connects to the adhesive at the top. (As soon as I open the package, I remove each page one by one. ) This product can be used to teach vocabulary, shapes, colors, following directions, motor skills, and imagination, among other things. The variety of topics available is incredible! We already have the habitat package, the fairy package, the dress up package, the playhouse package, and the princess castle play sets, and I plan to buy more! These are ideal for gifts because they come individually wrapped in a four-pack, allowing them to be divided into four separate gifts. For this reason, I went out and bought four more packs to keep on hand. Perfect for birthday party invitations that aren't expected! There are sets for both boys and girls, and many of them are suitable for BOTH genders. Melissa and Doug products are one of my favorites, and these are a lot of fun to play with.
This was a gift for my three-year-old daughter. She adores stickers; I, on the other hand, despise buying and discarding them. So I figured this would be a good substitute; the books are adorable, but the stickers don't stick. They resemble window clings, and the paper that comes with them would probably stick to a window better. It's a great idea, but it falls flat.
I'd purchased other Melissa and Doug reusable sticker sets in the past, and I was thrilled to see that there was finally one that my daughter would enjoy. I am extremely dissatisfied with the product's quality. The stickers stick well to the pages in all of the other sets we have, and we have a lot of them. They can even be hung on the wall. These stickers are not adhered to the pages in any way. My daughter and I are both dissatisfied with the quality of the pack.
