In fact, they are very easy to remove. I am using them constantly for my daughter to play with and stick everywhere. She sticks them on her body, clothes, furniture, walls, books, dogs, you name it. I don't know for sure, but I know I was unimpressed with this product. Melissa and Doug's products are of very high quality, so I was highly disappointed. They reminded me of the Colorform stick-ons I used to play with as a child, so I was thrilled to find them for my granddaughter. The fact that they are puffed up rather than flat just makes them even cuter. I now bring you the downside. When properly cleaned, they do not adhere at all. Even though they have good cleaning power, they just don't stick. This company is not a good choice for you. It would have been better for me to send back several sets. What a great idea! The plane ride to Orlando (3-ish hours) was purchased with this item. It took me four and a half years to figure it out It was a big hit with the 6 year olds. A good portion of the kids looked at them for a long period of time. The stickers are thick and do not easily rip. It is easy to move them and they stick to each other. Now that it is June, they are still playing with them occasionally, despite the purchase in November. I'm very pleased to report that the stickers are still in good condition, and the book itself is still in good shape.
