Questions & Answers

So my mother, who is 92, and I can practice our knitting skills together, I plan to purchase a potholder loom kit. How easy would it be to work with a 7" or 10" screen?

Potholders are easier to start with when they are 7 inches, and they are less expensive to test her skill. There are a lot of frames that are 7 inches alone. You can find more information here and elsewhere There are Michael's and Jo Anne's restaurants. There is a crochet stitch to remove the pot holder. It's just a matter of pulling loop 1 right in the middle of loop 2. Using a plastic 7 inch frame works fine. For the 7 inch, you need 36 loops total, while for the 10 inch, you need 105 loops total. Stripes will be made by counting in 1/2 (white one way, blue the other way). It was suggested that all loops be washed first because they tend to A pot holder made of metal or plastic that is 10 inches in diameter is likely to be more durable and useful. My plan is to buy a large amount of white and then to buy bags of colored 10 inches for the second and third color. It is filled with patterns, all based on numbers and repeating the color and number in a planned manner. 1 / 3/ In both directions, 3 and 4. The pot holder is made of two colors in the first direction, one color in the second direction (18 loops for 7 inches and 28 loops for one way color of the same, half of the pot holder). You can use them for more than just pot holders and hot pot holders if you make a plan before you begin.

Concerned with the inconsistent color assortment, I have read some online reviews. Is the packaging different from what I read in the reviews?

I was not able to buy all the colors earlier this year as there wasn't the same number of each. Each color loop is present in this bag in many different forms. You can use this assortment if you do not need/want a whole bag of one color of candy.

As I have yet to receive 8 potholders from the designated bag, should I buy directly from Harrisville?

The answer is unknown. The only time I have had problems has been when I was purchasing from Amazon. When I use the larger loom and loops, I use the smaller loom and

How thick are these loops compared to the thick loops we used to be able to pick up as kids? Or, are these only the thin loops you find these days?

The loops in this set are very nice high quality loops which you won't The loops are 10 inches wide as well. There are different kinds of smaller loops that you can find all over, in countless There is nothing else like these.

We love that the potholders are not packaged It is completely random how many colors are in each group
3/5

Here is what I came up with! We love these potholders because they are like the ones we used to make as kids and are a much better quality than the ones you find nowadays. I found the packaging to be very poor for $40! A weaving loom that I bought comes with loops for two potholders (3 colors) but there is not enough of each color to make two identical ones. After that I bought two bags of pastels and my sister just bought me another every time I bought them I purchased the same problem. A disproportionate number of loops per color is simply not acceptable! I recently bought a $40 bag and here is what I found inside. Colors available in 8 different shades The pastel colors for 2015 are pink 46, light purple 81, light blue 66, yellow 61, medium blue (turquoise) 41, and green (army) 64, as well as the non pastel colors bright orange 82, turquoise 41, and honey yellow 68. It is important for each color to be packaged as an equal amount. I believe they ought to package this product better than they did for a few dollars' worth of actual product. A friend of mine had the same issue with the "bright" colors she purchased. There is nothing wrong with these potholders they are great gifts. It's just too bad the quality control on such an item is so bad.

Loops are great, but the customer isn't there Although it is a friendly company
5/5

It is a good quality loop with nice colors that is durable and good quality. Nevertheless, they are quite expensive, and one should also keep in mind that the colors are not A bag I bought recently had 25% of the goods in one color (12 colors in total) and the remaining two colors each made up only I was offered 10% off a future purchase when I contacted customer service, and a small bag of just the color I was missing was suggested. Compared to the multicolored bags, the single color bags cost twice as much per potholder! The joke was pretty much on me. They agreed to make it right after more haggling. Customer-related information is not provided on this page Company is not friendly and does not respond to customer needs in a flexible manner. I have yet to find another company that makes good, high quality cotton loops--unfortunately, they are the only ones that I have found. This is particularly true of 10" sizes.

It has been a huge disappointment to receive so many large packages of these loops in such poor quality and colors
3/5

My new bag of loops is just getting started I haven't had the time due to the holidays to use them yet. It has been a huge disappointment to receive so many large packages of these loops in such poor quality and colors. I consider many loops to be unusable because they are extremely thin. Colors have made my designs easy in the past and made it may not be that complicated. This is very disappointing as these loops are expensive and should have better quality control. I have at least twice as many of 2 colors and a very small number of 3 colors.

What a great idea! THE UPDATE IS This is a second order for this bag of loops, just to see if the assortment was more balanced across colors
5/5

I'm pleased with the results! I will now be changing my review to five stars and I am very pleased with my In the past It's a pity that there are only four stars, because I really liked the loops for potholders and the colors are gorgeous. As another writer accurately noted, they are colors that fabric from antique quilts is It is true, however. There is not an equal number of colors, which was extremely disappointing to me. The item I received seemed to contain an overwhelming number of orange and light purple, but only about a dozen pink and twelve Those of us who like to make potholders with patterns will find this really limits our options. The Harrisville Company should fix this problem if they would like to sell these to me.

Give a gift that will make friends and family smile! It is my passion to do any kind of arts or As soon as I saw this loom was available, I was eager to get started on it
5/5

There are many colors in the loops from solid colors to fall colors to bright colors to pastel colors. My family members were my first recipients of the weaves, then I wove several for myself. Other people are drawn to them and want a pair of their own How would you describe your favorite colors, fall, bright or pastel? In weaving, I don't worry about a pattern, just what color goes well with what, working with complementary colors, then alternating between white, cream, and contrasting colors, as desired. These potholders often evoke the same reaction when I give them away. I love these so much! am not sure if they can be used. They should use them, I tell You can have another pair woven for you when your current ones wear out. As a hobby, this has been a wonderful way for me to relax after a busy day and use my hands. This is a product that I highly recommend.

The loops are of great quality and the colors are beautiful

This is a very nice loop that measures 10 inches. It was great to be able to get a bag when they came back into stock. The pastel colors are just what I was looking for, to finish some large hot pad ideas that of good quality and I received a nice variety of colors as well. Ordering these again would be a good idea. Several of the items in my bag were
58 pink
48 orange
52 yellow
39 green
61 light blue
52 medium blue
76 dark purple
48 light.

10" loops are ideal for making trivets and pot holders large enough for the kitchen

Weaving pot holders with cotton loops is the way to go. The time period. You will get years of service from your potholders if you follow these tips. In every loop, there is a stray string from the manufacturing process, I assume. In order to prevent those loose strings from unraveling when you are weaving, once I've decided on the pattern and colors I plan to use, I spend a few minutes trimming all the loops.

There are tears and unraveling
3/5

It is a pleasure to use the loom, but the loops made by only this company are not only overpriced, but of poor quality as well. In this video, yarn is used as an alternative to loops, and that will be my first attempt at gift making. This is so annoying! When I was a kid, I don't remember having this issue with these products.
