Can you tell me how big the book is? Sizes are listed in both the description and the details. ?

How big is the journal if you are asking about it? It was back in 2013 that I bought the kit. There were two columns of the Journal one 7" high and one 3" high The length of the stick is 8 inches. Paying $7 is what I did. The American girl and the American boy are 99 each We bought two sets of the other two. The book I bought for my granddaughter was well received by her. There are no other memories I can recall. Sorry about that.

Do you think this would be appropriate for a 9 year old who has just lost her father?

It would be better if the book was more sturdy. In my opinion, this is more of a craft book, which is flimsy and not well made, so I can't see it lasting long. It is my deepest regret that you have lost your mother

My daughter loved this kit and I bought it for her. As part of the kit, girls receive a mini memory book that measures 8 inches by 7 inches, the perfect size for a young girl to keep track of In addition to the mini papers and stickers, there are also ten assorted It is made up of diecuts of various designs that can easily be applied with some glue or glue dots. The diecuts lend themselves to a variety of projects. This kit can be used by any child to do wonderful things. In addition, my daughter made little pockets out of cardstock that she used to store mementos such as movie tickets, notes, etc. I also got this as a birthday gift for my daughter's friend who turned eight. The kit looks like it would be a great fit for girls who like to scrapbook and/or write journals. The following age groups are recommended.

Amazing! I'm so glad you're doing this. The book includes many different pages, stickers, and cut-outs. We used it as a craft at my daughter's birthday party, and the kids enjoyed it. After an hour or so, they were quite busy with this activity.

Her favorite part of it is that she I think that this was her favorite gift out of all the things I got her that Easter. We were able to start using our photos and embellish them with the pages, stickers, and cutouts To assemble the album properly, glue sticks and double sided album tape needed to be on hand. In addition, she was also able to complete some of the "all about me" activities and include them in her It may be necessary for you to help your child, depending on the craft experience and creativity of the child.
