Questions & Answers

What's the total number of bags you'll be receiving?

5 bags. Each project is packaged in a zip-top bag. Love it!

Is it safe to use the glue?

I'm not sure because it doesn't say on the box that it's nontoxic. "Includes glue stick," said the box.

Is this real?

Legit. It's very nice. Puppets are simple to make. However, it will only be used once.

What animal species are included in the kit? Thanks! There were two cows, according to one reviewer, who was disappointed that the lion was not included. ?

A cow, lion, frog, parrot, and elephant were among the five animals we received. They're so cute together. This provided excellent value for money, and it kept my children occupied for the afternoon.

The new price is absurdly high
3/5

My two-year-old and I completed half of the puppets in this set today and had a great time; she wanted to name them and put on a puppet show afterward. This is a fantastic product that will be manufactured. It was also well worth the six dollars I paid for it when I first bought it. However, it is now at a speed of 13 mph. I find it absurd that she is 50.

Excellent craft with long-lasting materials and no need for preparation
5/5

Review of the craft. Little Hands Paper Bag Puppets by ALEX Toys For this age group, I would give it a five-star rating. My reviewers are children ranging in age from three to six years old. br>br>Amazon has a $7 craft kit. Currently, 50 is available, with 5 paper bag puppets costing around $1 each. Each one is worth $50. Each puppet (Lion, Elephant, Bird/Owl, Frog, and Cow) comes in its own plastic bag kit with everything you'll need to put it together: a colored paper bag, heavy glossy cardstock punch out accessories such as eyes, legs, tails, and other features, as well as colorful stickers to finish the animal The punch outs are simple and do not tear; my three-year-old could easily and quickly complete them all. One jumbo glue stick is also included in the kit, which can be used on all of the puppets. After you've assembled all five puppets, you'll have about 3/4 of a gluestick left over for more crafting. br>br>With three kids and one adult, this took about 45 minutes from start to finish, and the directions are colorful and simple enough for an adult to understand. The glue seems to hold up well, and I don't expect the parts to fall off easily. A child aged 6 and up should be able to complete this task almost entirely on his or her own. My 6-year-old only required some very basic assistance in comprehending the directions. The three and five-year-olds responded well to the step-by-step instructions. This kept their attention until the very end, and the only steps I took were to put everyone's legs up because they were exhausted. With three kids (and one glue stick), this took a lot longer, and each of them had to wait while the other two glued in between each step. br>I believe they enjoyed the combination of being able to punch out pieces, glue them together, and decorate with stickers. They all said they "liked" the craft and are looking forward to incorporating it into a puppet show. Advantages: br>br>
- Everything you'll need is included in this kit, so there's no need to prepare ahead of time or plan ahead of time. It also necessitates a complete lack of artistic or crafty abilities.
- The kids had a great time with the activity, and it kept their attention for almost the entire 45 minutes (I'd say 15 to 20 minutes). If you're making one puppet with one child, this craft will take about 20 minutes; if your child is older than preschool, it will take less time.
- It's a 'useful' craft in that it can be used as a puppet after the initial craft time (I'll update on how durable they are once they've been played with for a while).
- You could keep the cardstock punch outs and use them as stencils to re-create the look. If you're crafty and want to do this again on a budget, make a similar animal in the future. We kept ours, and if we use it, I'll post an update. This could be a fun craft to do with an older child (7 years or older). 10) Have the child draw, cut out, and decorate their own eyes, mouths, feathers, and so on.
- This would be a great "grandparent" craft or something to leave with a babysitter because, as I mentioned, you only need the supplies provided.
- This provided us with a fantastic new craft idea for future paper bag puppets.
- Even if they aren't assembled "perfectly," they look vibrant and lovely. "
- This is an EXCELLENT "experience" gift for a child for a birthday or holiday, and it would be fun to keep these on hand for gifts and parties. br>br>Contrary to popular belief, there are a number of disadvantages to using this product.
- The only possible "con" I can think of is the price, which I say cautiously. If you're looking for something to do with your kids every day, the price per craft is prohibitively expensive. However, I believe $1 is a reasonable price for the bag's quality and thickness, the glue, and the overall value of the finished product. It was so much fun for me to relax and ENJOY craft time with all the kids without the hussle and bussle of preparing and trying to keep everyone from grabbing and thinking of ideas at $50 per puppet.

Glue is excellent for a Friday craft day
5/5

I bought it for a granddaughter I babysit. She's two and a half, so choose which puppet you want to make and poke out the eyes, nose, mouth, arms, and legs, then talk about where we want to put them while looking at the picture. Assist with the glue, but leave it to her to glue and stick her puppet to the bag. My two-and-a-half-year-old felt in charge of this cute, simple learning craft, and she was pleased with the outcome. This week, I did Frog, and next week, I'll let her choose which one she wants. I've bought stick glues for our other crafting projects, and this stick glue is fantastic; I'll have to figure out what kind it is so I can get some for our other projects.

Excellent craftsmanship
5/5

However, don't pay more than $13 or $14. I'm not sure what's up with Alex toys or the Alex brand. However, because the crafts are pre-made, it is one of my favorite toys. wrapped and, to be honest, even a 18-year-old month- You can enlist the assistance of a child to assist you with the sticker application. Then a nine-year-old comes along. old would work with you to create one. The only additional instruction I would provide is that I would adhere the parts using both stickers and glue. It gets a double dose of reinforcement thanks to the stickers. Just one part, such as arms or legsbr>Then, even if it's only a short story, you can put on a puppet show from a doorway or an ottoman.

I rarely write reviews on things I buy, but I felt compelled to do so because this product was amazing
5/5

I bought two of them for my granddaughters, ages 6 and 3, who are 6 and 3 years old. They were a hit with everyone. Each puppet part was packaged separately and included a colored bag with all of the necessary decorations, as well as a large glue stick. It came with simple picture instructions that both girls could understand. The 3-year-old required some assistance but was able to complete the task well enough to feel satisfied. The six-year-old was not bored and had a good time making the puppets. In one sitting, she crafted three puppets. We have more planned for another day, and it will be a lot of fun putting on puppet shows. Each puppet had a fantastic appearance. Also, it's simple to pack up when you're done, and there's no mess to clean up, making it ideal for parents and grandparents.

YEAR- THIS WAS A HIT WITH MY OLD GRANDSON! This was a Christmas present for my 5-year-old grandson, and he had a blast helping Grandma make them! He made the puppets himself, with a little help from Grandma to ensure that he applied enough glue and then pushed each piece down - "It's all about pushing, pushing, pushing!" " He had a habit of not applying enough glue or pressure to get the pieces to stick, but everything worked out great with my supervision of the glue and this mantra!" I was pleased that after the first puppet, he felt confident enough to read the directions and make minor changes to make everything his own - a cross- Elephant with one eye, arms down instead of up, and a few other minor variations We saved the remaining stickers for future projects because he only used about half of them
5/5

We only made one puppet per day, and he saved them for me to make when I came to visit. He's already requested that I make another set, so I'll be working on that for Valentine's Day!.

Not all of the animals are represented! I thought I was getting one of each puppet, but instead I got two cows, two birds, and one frog, as depicted on the box
3/5

So when my daughter opened it up and saw no lion or elephant, she was disappointed. That said, she loved putting the puppets together, and they kept her occupied for hours, just like new dolls would; the two cows are now'sisters,' so that was taken care of. One for each child, these would be a fun activity for a jungle or animal-themed birthday party. The glue stick is oversize and very chubby, making it easy to use; it will last for months after this activity; and the paper bags are thick and sturdy, far more so than your average paper bag. Another advantage is that you can discuss the different parts of the animals, which adds some educational value, but they're mostly just fun puppets.
