Yes. AnanBros sand molds were also a hit with my grandson. The safe sand mold set is a good match for sand.
Separate? Is it made of plastic molds? Sure. It just pops out of nowhere. Molds, as well as baking utensils and regular sandbox toys, are frequently used by my grandchildren. Everything functions perfectly.br>Cleanup is also a breeze.
I'm in the same shipping situation two years after you asked this question. I placed my order on October 26th, and it is now December 3rd, with a delivery date of December 6th, but it has yet to be shipped. I will not be ordering from them again due to their poor shipping.
My daughter also uses AnanBros' sand mold, which allows the sand to easily come out. They are having a great time.

See the comments section for more information. My granddaughters had a lot of fun with the sand, but I made a mistake by using it inside; I had set up a play table on a hardwood floor so that spills would be easy to clean up. After cleaning up the mess, sweeping the floor, and so on, we were met with an unpleasant surprise that any prospective buyer should be aware of: A component in sand causes a wood floor to be extremely SLIPPERY! After all visible sand grains had been removed, this was the case. My husband, I, and my son were all on the verge of collapsing on that spot on the floor. I've washed the floor twice and haven't been able to get rid of the slickness completely. Grandparents with weak bones or mothers who are expecting are particularly vulnerable. br> I'll say it again: If this product falls on a wooden floor, it could be dangerous. It can only be used outside.
I'm a college student who suffers from anxiety and ADHD and is looking for a relaxing toy. I chose this kinetic sand because I recall seeing it advertised on Saturday morning infomercials and thinking how much I wanted it as a kid. The overwhelming smell of Emler's glue was the first thing that struck me about this kinetic sand, which is not like ordinary kinetic sand. I made the decision to move on and experiment with it. It's incredibly sticky, like, incredibly sticky, and quite disgusting. This is probably to make molding easier, but it results in a strange, unsatisfying texture. The webs of glue that hold it together can sometimes be seen as it falls. I think it'd be great for indoor sandcastles on a rainy day, which is why I gave it two stars instead of one, but it doesn't have the same pleasant feel as other kinetic sands. It also sticks to your hands, so if you get it for your kids, make sure they wash their hands thoroughly afterward to avoid ingesting sand and glue. My search for good kinetic sand is still going on.
br> Children adore itbr> Ideal for children on the autism spectrum or other children with special sensory needsbr> Literally NEVER dries outbr> Does not stain skin, clothes, carpets, or other surfacesbr> Extremely easy to clean from any surface (vacuums up easily, sweeps up easily, easily wipes off of any surface, easily washes out of clothes and hair)br>br>CONS:
- It gets everywhere, just like real sand!
- When you consider how much sand you'll sweep up/vacuum up/wash away/wash out/wipe up/throw away, it's an expensive proposition.
Playing with this sand is a lot of fun. This is something I bought for myself because I enjoy textures and it helps me relax. I put the sand in a white mixing bowl at first, but after a few days, I noticed it was staining it. So I dumped the sand into a shallow cardboard box that had been lined with a garbage bag. I scrubbed the mixing bowl repeatedly but was unable to remove the green stain. I eventually used a magic eraser to get most of the color out. So. It stains, I now know. Also, when playing with sand, you can get a fine colored residue between your fingers and on your finger tips that won't come off with just water or a towel; you'll have to scrub your hands with soap as well. br>I can't imagine getting this sand on my carpets; I'm sure you'd never be able to get it out. But. It's enjoyable to play with and very cathartic, and as an adult, it's enjoyable to mold a sea turtle or a lizard in the sand for a few minutes each day.
This is something that my therapist suggested for my anxiety, and it really works. I put it in a tupperware container so that I can take it with me if necessary. I can relax on my sofa, mold it in my hands, and forget about my worries.
We used to have the natural sand (color) and really liked it. We had to toss it because the kids spilled some sort of liquid on it, making it greasy. This time, we decided to try colors; it's lovely and soft, but it's so fine that it sticks to my children's hands, making cleanup more difficult. The color may also transfer slightly if you don't pick it up off certain surfaces or carpets. I still have a bag of blue kinetic sand that I haven't opened and will save it for when we can play outside; in the future, I'll stick to the natural kinetic sand over the colored kinetic sand.
This is something that our granddaughters adore. It's a sure winner when you add some cups, cookie cutters, melon ballers, and other items.
Air- We keep it in a Tupperware-style container between uses, despite the tight packaging.
It stays pretty contained, and unlike almost all of her other toys, which she has played with for a few hours and then forgotten about, this has been a daily use item since we received it in the mail. It had been a few weeks since that happened. My only complaint is that it has left a stain on my wood table. If she doesn't play with it for a few days, it might be worth trying bleach to remove the stain. br>br>Aside from that, I have some time to myself while she is preoccupied with this sand; it's a minor trade-off, I assure you!.
