Please do not purchase this product for the sake of your child; my daughter's hands became red, swollen, and inflamed within minutes of playing with the sand. I didn't think it was a big deal, so I swept the sand away. However, she developed blisters the next day. I contacted the company for the ingredients because they are nowhere to be found on their website. For weeks, they've been giving me the runaround, telling me what it doesn't include and assuring me that they test everything thoroughly, but they can't tell me what's in it because it's a "trade secret. " OTHER BRAND'S INGREDIENTS ARE LISTED, SO WHAT THESE GUYS ARE USING MAY NOT BE SAFE FOR ALL KIDS. We spoke with the pediatrician, who told us that there was nothing we could do except apply ointment to relieve the pain and irritation. As a result, there was a lot of peeling. I'm not asking for their ingredients so I can make a competing product; I just want to know so I can keep my child safe in the future, which unfortunately this SHADY company does not understand. AVOID THIS BRAND AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE.
I needed a gift for my son's birthday, and I needed something that would keep his attention for more than a few minutes. Well, let me just say that I'm glad I bought it! It's easy to mold because the sand is soft and squishy. It easily slides out of the molds and leaves no residue on hands or surfaces. I even found small clumps of it on the carpet, which I simply bent down to pick up and return to the tub (this item does not include the inflatable tub, which I purchased separately). Another feature I like about this sand is that it never dries out and is always moist, which makes it a lot of fun for both kids and adults. There's almost no mess. It gets two thumbs up!.
We bought this kinetic sand kit because of the amount of sand it contains for the price, and it comes in a box that can be folded into a play area to contain the sand. While this works, it can't be sealed to keep the sand from drying out, so we've opted to use a cheap Tupperware-style container instead. For storage and play, use this style container. The kit includes some beach toys to go with the sand, as well as my 4-year-old daughter. It's something that my year old daughter enjoys doing with it. This is an excellent purchase if you are new to kinetic sand and have a toddler. It allows children to learn and experiment with their creativity, as well as providing a new way to play with doh. The sand will not dry out as long as it is kept sealed between uses. Once it has dried, it will begin to separate from the compound that holds it together, resulting in sand grains on your table or wherever your children play. Just keep that in mind.
Kinetic sand is one of my favorite things to play with, and my kids do as well. Three different kits have been purchased by me. One was an off-brand, which I do not recommend purchasing. This is an outstanding offer. The ideal amount of sand for a child to play with is 3 pounds. Anything less would be unacceptable to me. The little sand castles are cute, but the kids haven't shown much interest in the little shovels so far. Combining kinetic sand with small plastic construction trucks is one of our favorite things to do with it.
I assumed this was the set that came with a real plastic case that you could close to keep your sand contained and play in. It isn't the case. A bag of sand and miniature sand castle tools are included in the cardboard box. My daughter likes it, and I can put the sand in a bag to make it work, but I wish the box didn't have slits in the bottom where the sand could get in.
I bought this and another kinetic sand product from the same company because I wanted a sand-playing option that was simple to clean. My three-year-old has discovered that sand adheres to him. It became tangled in her fingers, toes, and legs. even her upper eyelid The worst part was that it didn't just wash away like regular sand. I tried washing it with soap and water, but it didn't come off. It took an eternity to remove the kinetic sand from her. Because of all the rubbing she had to do to get rid of it, she developed a red rash. NOT ONCE MORE! What a heinous deception!.
It's extremely simple to clean up! It also doesn't leave any strange residue on your hands. br>br>I was concerned that the sand castles would be too small for my two children. I plan to get many different styles in this for my 5-year-old to enjoy, but it's perfect for an inside toy as well. br>br>This product includes 3 pounds of sand, which is more than enough for me. Within the box, there is a play surface, and the sand fits perfectly. You may make use of Play- It works great with Doh tools, dump trucks, and other similar items. This product has the potential to keep us occupied for hours. br>br>This is my new go-to birthday gift!.
It's so much fun! It was purchased for my three-year-old daughter, and she absolutely adores it. The best part is that there is almost no mess! All you have to do now is gather all of the sand and put it in a lump. Personally, I had a lot of fun with it. Everything you'll need to have a good time is included in this kit. The additional tools are a nice touch.
