I've never spent more than $7 on a discount for my children! The kids enjoyed it because it stayed pliable. For over an hour, I kept the kids occupied. This was a lot of fun for me and my kids to play with. It's not at all a mess! Stays in one piece. This is an excellent toy for luring children away from their electronic devices. Provides hours of sensory, hands-on sand play in the comfort of your own home, without the mess. Toy trucks can be driven over little hills made with cookie cutters and measuring cups. Shapes you make are stored in this folder. This sand is fun for adults to play with, and it's reusable if you keep it sealed in the handy ziploc bag. Best toy!.
My nine-year-old son enjoys listening to the sand in his hands make noises. For his birthday, he had requested a kinetic sand play set. When I saw this, I thought he and his younger sister would be happy to use the kit together because it had so many pieces. with ease I admit- There were approximately three semi-automated vehicles. They sat calmly for days in a row. Playing with kinetic sand and speaking in a childlike manner- and taking turns using the various tools provided in this kit Then the rain began to fall- The kinetic sand, on the other hand, had a rule that it could only be used outside. Since the beginning, we've used the kit a couple of times. My children enjoy it, and they can use the tools without assistance. My kids, ages 9 and 6, enjoy playing with the kinetic sand because the plastic is durable and allows them to create some interesting effects. They've outgrown play doh, and kinetic sand appears to be a good sensory substitute! This is a set that I would recommend. Also, because the sand that comes with the kit isn't a large amount, you'll need to buy some extra sand.
Our sand did not arrive with the box that serves as a sandbox and play area. As a result, we did not receive the complete list of pieces that had been advertised. Backdrop and sandbox are both missing. Because I hadn't purchased a storage box for it, it made it difficult to play. And, since we're missing those pieces, the phone holder is a little pointless. We are very pleased with what we have received, particularly the toys. When we opened our box, we were met with disappointment rather than anticipation. But we're having a good time. All it did was cause some inconvenience and provide less value than was advertised.
The sand was JUNK when it first opened (to much fanfare). It wouldn't stick together (which is the whole point of kinetic sand), and the colors bled onto my hands and clothes, necessitating a hasty trip to the bathtub. Their clothes, skin, and deck were all stained by it. It even stain our carpeting on the way to the tub! BUY THIS CRAP AT YOUR OWN RISK! I understand that Amazon sells items based on good faith representations, but they are the ones who sold me my last Kinetic Sanisfying Set. The item we purchased has been discarded!.
He is enthralled by the fact that we can do so many different things with those tools. It also keeps him occupied for a while, which is great for fine motor exercise, and I frequently join in, which is also enjoyable for adults: )br>br>The quality is excellent; I tried an off-brand one once and it didn't last as long as Kinetic Sand. THEY DO NOT DRY OUT, which is my favorite feature. They've been around for a long time and are still going strong. br>br>However, because storage is not included, you will have to find your own. The sand goes into ziplock bags, and the tools go into a box. It is inconvenient to keep around because it isn't the best strategy.
UPDATE- After communicating with the company, I'm revising my rating. They were unable to replace the broken twister, but they did provide me with a replacement product as well as free sand. They attempted to rectify the situation and asked if I would accept a substitution. I agree, and I believe they are deserving of a new rating. My daughter enjoys playing in the sand, but I wish I could have given her the entire set she desired. She's content, which is what we wanted. br>br>I got a twister that was broken. This was the tool that my daughter was most excited to try out. No matter how hard you try, the plastic will not snap together. It appears to be a flaw in the way the plastic was molded at the factory. The sand is nice, but this is a necessary tool, so I can't give it five stars unless I get a replacement. Today, I sent an email to the company requesting a replacement part. I'll change my rating if I receive a replacement. I hadn't received the product I had paid for up until that point.
