First and foremost, the packaging was unacceptable; clearly, it had been opened prior to delivery, and the tape had come apart when it arrived. br>Secondly, this is WAY messier than play doh in my opinion. Based on the reviews, I thought this would be a better alternative to play doh, but it was all over the place within minutes! It is difficult to put together and results in a large mess. Is it possible that I received a faulty package? Third, it left a stain on my four-year-old's hands, which was ridiculous. This product will almost certainly be returned.
We had previously received kinetic sand as part of a playset. I wanted to get more, and I thought the colors would appeal to my son. He liked the colors, but this kinetic sand isn't as sticky as the first one we received. The colored kinetic sand is silkier, but because the color transfers so much, it cannot be manipulated as easily as plain colored kinetic sand.
I bought this to wrap and give as a Christmas present, but I was irritated by the item's packaging. Despite the fact that it arrived in a brown Amazon box with the sticker label on the outside, it also had labels stuck all over the front of the box. I tore the box apart while attempting to peel off the label, which was obviously addressed to me. I had to tape the box shut after it arrived open and torn. I was dissatisfied with the presentation, especially since it was intended as a gift. I'm not sure I'll buy anything else from this company.
I received these yesterday and they are fantastic. I wish the colors red, white, yellow, teal, and natural sand were available in 2 pound bags like the purple, blue, and green. pink. It always amazes me how each color has a different texture, which is fun to experiment with. We have a variety of molds, and working with the sand helps with a variety of sensory issues. For the price, I wish the containers were larger, but for some of the colors, this is the only way to get them. I'm sure I'll place additional orders. br>Actually, I'll have to order some more. With the 2lb bags I bought, we made a few colors of our own.
My son absolutely adores this sand, which can be found in small sections at stores like Walmart and Target where there are usually only a few options. So when I came across this, I knew I had to have it. It includes ten different colored sand castles. br> It's simple to clean and a lot of fun to use. Even adults will enjoy it!.
This is a gift for my nephew, who is two years old. He enjoys sand, dirt, mud, and other similar materials in general, and this kinetic sand is no exception. He has the ability to create complex shapes and designs that remain intact. It's fun, educational, and encourages creativity. It is impossible to make a mistake. It's unlikely to be something they'll remember for the rest of their lives, but it's a nice change from a mass-produced item. Toy made of plastic for the market.
Fake packaging, just like my husband. br>br>Aside from the jokes, cleaning the bottoms of shoes is a nightmare. Also, don't believe the instructions that say to spray a mist of water into the air to moisten the sand; water actually dries it out even more in the long run. In reality, you'll need a mixture of water, glue, and dish soap (portions to be determined). This sand, however, feels the best of all the sands I've tried.
Kid enjoys it, but it does not make a lot of mess that is easy to clean up in either case. I let her play with the wood and tile flooring whenever she wants inside. I'll place another order once the grains have been swept up and the sand has vanished.
