Any age. Small children can use it to draw pictures, older children can use it to solve math problems instead of scratch paper, and adults can use it to make shopping lists. It's far superior to a boogie board.
I'm sure you could, or you could contact the seller, but I never use the stylus that comes with these girls' toys. I use whatever I have on hand, whether it's my finger, a pen, or whatever else comes to mind. That is what makes this item so appealing.
The battery is included in the package. It's not necessary to activate it. The whiteboard is always available to be used as a writing surface.
It's essentially a smaller version of the classic magna-board, and it's just as much of an educational toy as any other writing board. Toy that is reminiscent of a doodle. Draw pictures and work on your writing and math skills.

My two-year-old was able to remove the battery, swallow it, and almost die as a result. This is garbage, and I can't stress enough how dangerous it is. Don't waste your time and money on this!.
Lockdown! This was given to me by a friend at dance class, and I let my toddler play with it. I ordered one after hearing how much he enjoyed it. Now is the time. br>br> We're in a situation where we need to be creative. I'm trying to homeschool an eight-year-old, a six-year-old, and a three-year-old while the one-year-old screams like a banshee and smashes things to get attention. I had purchased dry erase boards, but my children kept removing the caps, causing them to dry out, or coloring on each other or themselves. This was a much better option!br>br>We're practicing math, writing sentences, and handwriting, and they're also coloring on it for fun. So no one colors on the walls, there are no crayons to keep track of. br>br>I have no idea how I got here.
If there is a baby or toddler in the house, I would not give this to a toddler or an older child. The battery compartment is far too easy to open, and ingesting a button cell battery can be fatal for babies and toddlers. In addition, there was an extra button cell battery strewn about in the box. If I had given this to my two-year-old without realizing it, he could have gotten his hands on it, which is terrifying to me. I'm so glad I opened the package last night to inspect it before handing it over to my son for Easter this morning. The Amazon page says it's for ages 2 and up, but the product itself says it's for ages 3 and up. However, I would not give it to any child under the age of seven, and I would not give it to any child if I had children at home. I can't comment on how well the product works, but if you have children in your home, I'd advise using extreme caution or a different product.
Pros: It's simple to use and includes a spare battery. The pen comes with a bungee and a holder that both attach to the board. My children are six and two years old. So far, the 5-year-olds appear to like them.
Cons: The screen's colors aren't as they appear in the seller's photos, and the design is flimsy. The colors are more pastel/lighter, rather than rainbow. I've included photos of the box it comes in, which shows the rainbow colors vs. the box it came in. the gadget itself.
We used to have a boogie board, and I think this is a better product because of several features.
- The screen reset button is disabled by a lock/unlock switch on this device. This is useful because it prevents you from accidentally resetting the device while in use.
- It is possible to change the battery. When the battery on the boogie board runs out, it can't be replaced, so it's useless. It's great to know I can replace the battery with kids who reset the screen frequently.
- This device's reset is a little nicer. I'm not sure how to explain it, but when you used the boogie board, the screen would flicker as it reset. The screen is instantly cleared with no flicker when using this device. That isn't a big deal, but it does make things a little more enjoyable.
I wasn't expecting much because it'll most likely be ripped apart in a day or two. When I first got the tablets, I decided to put the batteries in and test them before wrapping them up. I tried to remove the battery holder by unscrewing it, but I couldn't get the battery tray out. I'll have to tear the tray apart to remove it so I can install the battery because the plastic is so soft. Okay, I'll just hand them back to you- IF YOU DON'T WANT US TO RETURN A PIECE OF CRAP, HOW ABOUT INFORMING US IN YOUR DESCRIPTION?.
So far, this tablet has exceeded my expectations. I like how it has a stretchy attachment piece to keep the pen from falling out, but you don't have to thread it through if you don't want to. (It's included in the tablet's box, but it's not included with it. ) Because my three and five-year-olds will be using it, I decided to keep it attached; it works right out of the box and comes with an extra battery for later use. The bottom of the screen has a slider button that prevents the screen from being erased if it is accidentally pressed. In both the light and the dark, it is easy to see. Will be useful for homeschooling, memorizing math facts, and simply drawing in the car. It is very light. A brightness adjuster and a tablet case would be the only things I would add.
I'm going to order several more of these tablets because they were so much fun! My 3-year-old granddaughter, as well as my 10-year-old son, 17-year-old daughter, and granddaughter's parents, were unable to put it down. Everyone enjoyed coloring on it, and then it could be erased with the push of a button. I liked how this tablet took into consideration the "little things. " We love that it comes with an extra battery, a button that locks the screen so your drawing doesn't get erased until you want it to, a pen holder, and even a flexible cord that connects the pen to the board to keep it from getting lost.
