It has legs so that it can stand taller. I bought this little color pen. I must say, that I have the same problem with the legs constantly falling off. So, all we have to do is just lay it flat on the ground and my granddaughter absolutely loves it even without In order to keep this art table stable, this company should make legs that are actually able to remain on it. The only thing she doesn't like about it is that it draws with different colors rather than black like the old ones. The quality is a little bit lower than what I expected, but it will do the job.
