There are many varieties of these cute little erasers, which can be used as manipulatives for small hands to sort, count and play. Although I bought this set in hopes to use the mini numbers for math activities with my students - I cannot use them due to the design of the set. However, not all of the numbers were included (no 2s or 0s). The size of these is probably too small to be used as actual erasers too, as noted by another reviewer. They will stay in my possession so I can use them for counting activities, but I won't purchase them.
She's cute, and smart, too. I always have these on hand for my students. It was weird to see some of the animals in this strange shape. I realized that the creatures were animals shaped like numbers when my friend revealed it to me. Most of the shapes are cute animal shapes, but try to find all the numbers as well. They are also not the biggest. The other set I have is about two inches wide. The size is 5x larger. I have a little girl who picks out the little ones and creates sets for mommy and baby.
It turns out they are exactly what I needed except for the fact that they are half as big. Yes, I read the description, but I failed to realize that the numbers related to Although I do not know what I'll do with them, they would be too tempting to eat even with supervision for a 2 year old.
As you can see, there are only four of each shape pictured This isn't as varied as what is shown it's the same 4 every time. As for their size, they are so small that I expected them to be big. This product actually costs a ridiculous amount of money for what it.
Students in 3rd grade loved these Desk Pets as a desk companion. It was just a little disappointing that the pieces didn't hold up to being taken apart and reassembled. There were a lot of pegs that broke.
I don't know how you are supposed to even use this, it's a These are choking hazards that kid cannot hold to even try to erase with, since they can't hold them to hold.
With the containers in one hand and erasers in the other, I put a slot in a tupperware and ask them to grab them with one hand while holding them. This activity is a hit with them! As for naming all the different erasers they find, they love it too. This is a great toy for developing fine motor skills and your speech!.
