Selected User Reviews For Crayola Washable Watercolors, 16 Count (Pack of 2) Total 32 Count
'16 count (pack of 2) total 32 count' is written in the description. This appears to be a 16-color count. THERE ARE ONLY TWO WATERCOLOR PALLETS IN THE ENTIRE SET. I can get that for $6 at Walmart, and I was under the impression that I was ordering a class set when I placed this order. THIS IS NOT THE CASE. Information that is extremely deceptive. Then there's the fact that they won't let me return it. I WILL NOT ORDER FROM THIS SELLER AGAIN!.
We got these because there was an issue with inflation during the Covid demand for educational paints, and they worked perfectly without the upcharge. br>br>These paints are used at school and to color cartoon drawings that I create. The fact that these are semi-transparent is appealing to me. The color you see matches what you put on the media, which is moist. They allow you to go thick or thin depending on the effect you want to achieve, and they layer well. br>br>They arrived quickly and were wrapped in plastic to keep the two trays safe. You will receive two packs with the same 16 colors.
These were on my children's school supply list, but the stores were closed. I reasoned that if the store could get them in, I could return them. There was no mention of non-returnability anywhere on the package. The stores had them back before school started, and they were half price, but when I went to return them, I was told you couldn't. I gave it two stars because I adore the Crayola brand, but I'm annoyed that it was so deceptive.
These are excellent paints, and my 4-year-old granddaughter is learning to use them with the help of some special watercolor paper and a good sable brush. She is artistically inclined, so she may have a longer attention span than other children when it comes to this. I do have to closely supervise and teach how to rinse the brush, change the water, and remove excess water on the cup's edge, rather than "scrubbing" the brush on the paper, over and over. I saw her carefully point her brush on the crease of her hand, which was thrilling but not as effective as if she had a larger hand.
The only drawback is that they run out quickly, but that's probably due to the semi-permanent nature of the product. My two-year-old gets a vibrant result by simply dipping his paintbrush in the moist formula.
product!! The product arrived in excellent condition, with special attention paid to the packaging. This would be ideal for my child's elementary school. Furthermore, the two sides can be separated and fit into a single cartridge! This is something I would strongly suggest. especially considering the cost!!.
My granddaughter enjoys painting with these vibrant colors, and everything is so easy to clean up when she's finished.
This is an excellent product for children. It's simple to use and comes with a suitable brush for children's use.
