For my four children, I purchased this set. I have 2- 14-year-old children I was pleased to discover that the teen has taken the majority of the chalk. There are a lot more colors than I anticipated, and she loves to use them. Each of my children can create outdoor sidewalk art, and because there are so many colors to choose from, they can be quite detailed in their designs. I got these during a sale, so they were a steal for the money. I had to transfer the chalk to a new plastic bucket. They come in two cardboard boxes that are difficult for children to return the chalk to. I keep them in a big plastic bucket instead. The colors do not tend to rub off on each other, and they wash off easily on children. The chalk is also less likely to blow away from the concrete. That will work with some chalk, but it will take a lot more to complete the picture. This is a good piece of chalk. I plan to buy it again next year if my kids finish this set this year.

I was about to buy a cheap brand when I saw these from Crayola and fell in love with the fact that they aren't rounded like most sidewalk chalk. They can still fall down a steep driveway, but it will take longer. They come in a wide range of colors, and yes, they wash out of clothing, which is important because it gets all over their clothes.

My grandkids had already arrived for dinner when these arrived. We went outside right away and I taught them how to play hopscotch on a chalkboard. The adults, much to my surprise, were the ones who ended up playing. The younger children had taken the chalk and were drawing on my sidewalk in bright colors. We had a lot of fun with these over the summer, but I deducted a star because several of them were broken when we got them.

It's simple to hold and color with for my 20-month-old, and it won't roll down the hill. The issue is that it spreads all over the place. I can live with her hands being covered in chalk, but when she holds it or sits down where she has drawn, it gets all over her clothes. It occasionally comes out, but it frequently stains her clothes, particularly if they are wet before being washed. If you leave the chalk on your clothes overnight, it won't come off. Being pre-empted is extremely aggravating. Every night, she would wash and soak her clothes. When in use, it's entertaining, but cleaning up can be exhausting for a busy mom.

This is, without a doubt, the best chalk available. During my initial stay-at-home orders, I discovered that I really enjoyed doing chalk art; it started out as a fun activity I did with my kids to pass the time, but it quickly evolved into a hobby that I really enjoyed. I've tried a lot of different brands of chalk, but Crayola is the only one that consistently produces bold results. color variety, and the ability to withstand a lot of wear and tear.
