It never occurred to me at the time, but the fact that these would make our children's world of painting SOOO much more enjoyable for me personally because they 1) come with their own paint brushes for each cup, color-coordinated lids and lots of other fun things. It coordinates with the lid (reduces the chance of colors being mixed up) and 2) does a decent job of keeping the paint in the cups - a nightmare if you have a toddler. You're doing a wonderful job with these. They're a lot better than that. It is a must in my house if they ever break. My kids love them. I love them. * * * * * My ONLY complaint is that one of the paint brushes came apart at the metal casing after the first use, but I was able to fix it easily in seconds.
I would definitely recommend nine dollars to anyone. After one use, I found the paint to be easy to clean and did not stain the cups. The container definitely does not seal well. My toddler turned it upside down and paint easily came out. Nevertheless, it's better than a bowl or the alternative, in my opinion.
It is easier to apply broad strokes with the brushes when they are wet. The core of one brush is firmer, so it can daub water more firmly. As well as tempera paints, they should be able to work with them. Little hands will have a hard time holding these thick handles. I've given them to my grandsons, and they really I can fill each cup only 1/3 full and the water won't spill out if they don't tip over easily. It is my understanding that tempera paint, which is thicker than water, could be filled to 1/2 of the cup as it is thicker. With the water color pencils I bought through Amazon, I can really do an art project for young children without any mess The pencils and these water/paint cups are a big hit with kids and adults. I love my hardwood floors!.
We received this product yesterday and right after the first use, it started coming apart. The brush has to be put together constantly due to this problem, which is extremely frustrating. The product is unable to be used because of the problem. When I pay $9 a month, I expect it to stay together for at least We are highly disappointed in the quality of this product. This product is such a waste of money that I have no plans to recommend it to anyone. To serve as a reference, I have attached an image of the brush.
I would prefer being able to choose a brush in a smaller or smaller size, since the brushes are all quite large or wide. Because I cannot purchase only lids for this product, I will have to return it.
It is a great cup that traps most of the mess and keeps it contained! This set of paint brushes is great because of their size. Little hands will find them very useful. The utensils clean up easily, which is a major plus!.
It feels like the set is made of cheap materials. There would be something at the dollar store that would be like that. Dollar stores do not even come into my mind. Despite the fact that shipping is included, I just think this product is too expensive.
The paint with water books worked great with these. Children were kept from arguing with the matching color brushes. As a result of their spill-proof tops, the pens were truly resistant to dropped liquids.
