My toddler smashed these up and they stood up fine to his smashing. I don't know what leak proof means. I wasn't seeking high quality brushes, so it's okay, but I didn't want low quality. The quality of what you buy is determined by the price you pay.

are a variety of brushes here, and my girls have used a lot of them so far! Although these brushes are not meant for professional usage, they do seem to work relatively well on canvas, as well as cleaning up afterwards. Currently, I have everything set up to work perfectly and I will update as needed should anything change in the future!.

I have a kid who is very rough, and these have stood up to it. There was a flaw in the coating on one of the handles, but that was the only problem we encountered As far as quality goes, the brushes are actually pretty good. Unlike cheap plastic kids that commonly come with watercolor sets, they're not made of plastic.
