Capture the Flag REDUX: Glow-in-The-Dark Bracelet Expansion Set - Allow up to 12 Additional Players

The following is an update as of Customer service at this company is outstanding. I was contacted by them after they saw my review to fix the issue. My bracelets were replaced with the proper ones within 24 hours. The new stainless steel bracelets are a lot more durable, and the batteries are actually replaceable. Children have loved the game for a long time, now mom is too. This is the wrong item - I received the wrong item Instead of getting the 16 bracelet expansion pack with 8 blue I received a magenta pack with 8 bracelets, globe, and 4 magenta lights (the box stated what it included, but the label stated what I ordered, so whoever designed the label did it Sadly, I got it a day before I needed it, so there wasn't time to return and swap it for the correct item. I find the game to be entertaining, but I will say that I am surprised at how well reviewed it is, and how many people suggest that the batteries in the bracelets can be replaced. Neither of the bracelet packs I received had a full set of working bracelets. Even then, the batteries on mine cannot be removed because they are soldered into the bracket. Disassembling the battery cases requires a tiny screwdriver and even then they are tedious to disassemble. If I had to buy it again, I probably would, but I think the product quality could be better.

We have a nice acreage and a huge family. When we played this game on the first night, about 25 of our friends were there and it was stinkin' cold in Nebraska. teenagers bundled up because it was a full moon and they were all teenagers. It was incredible how many times they went back out and played another round! In the last round, they played hunter versus loves and that was their favorite game. It was equally fine a few nights later when we played with a much broader age group ages seven through 21. That night, it was pitch black and we had a little moonshine. As soon as we get friends around, we'll be playing with friends. We bought an expansion pack since then to add a third team. We decided to add some glow-in-the-dark lights to our acreage because of the size and the location It consists of Dark cones such as those sold by Glow City (via Amazon) were used, and the kids agreed that they added a lot to the game. As a part of our expansion pack, we recently added another glowing orb, so each of us can create This sounds fascinating. We look forward to trying it out. We have not experienced any breakage of the arm bands due to the very good quality of the felt. It's a great game! I'm looking forward to summer nights when it won't be so cold.

I have updated Most players dislike the replacement bracelets we received since they are the old type. (5 stars on customer service, though. ) I still had the button. The bracelets should be fewer. Our first effort was to secure them with safety pins The pins were easily bent and popped out of the bracelets, so that was a pain. In the event that the buttons become lost, I HIGHLY recommend picking up a package of heavy duty velcro at Walmart for $3, cutting it into strips, and going back to wearing the bracelets you love!.

It was great to have these, especially since the bracelets come with the games are not the most durable. These aren't the most durable either, but are pretty When I told my students I wasn't purchasing glow sticks, they asked why I didn't just buy them. You need to keep in mind the fact that these last significantly longer than glowsticks (they actually last longer than glowsticks), and they don't cost that much. Further, they are brighter and flashing. Several of the straps broke fairly easily, which is the only reason I am not giving it a five star rating.

The event was a great success! Almost all of our players were children in the seventh or eighth grade I am 15 years old There was nothing wrong with the old range, and everyone used it well. The bracelets as well as the little markers on it are nice features. It is a bit pricey in terms of a night's fun, but you should still be able to play a few more games than that (plus, I spoke with customer service and they told me they have a heavily discounted battery replacement pack). I also appreciated the quality of customer service. During the packing process, one of our bracelets came broken. They are replacing it immediately. The kit looks fantastic, and I am eager to use it again.

As a Christmas gift to my daughter, I gave her the game Capture the Flag. Over the course of this spring, she has played it almost every evening when the weather was nice. I'm always seeing green and blue streaks running through my back yard. I bought this expansion pack for my friends to join in on the fun. The book is well worth the price. They look so much happier when they are outside playing and not glued to their electronics.

I never write reviews but I felt compelled to do so on this purchase. As a present for my son's 13th birthday, I ordered Capture the Flag Redux and the expansion kit. Besides a few pieces not working, the kit worked very well, and the boys had a lot of fun playing it. After that, I wrote to ask for substitutes for the ones I didn't have There are working parts to every machine. I was able to do it quickly without any hesitation, and they came quickly.
