Questions & Answers
The back of the bike is fitted with a fender. In my opinion, a rack would be in the way of the bike. It would not be an issue to have a front basket.
That is definitely not the case. My two do not work with it. Tires with a diameter of 8 inches.
The two I have are 1. I tried 8in tires on my mountain bike and it did not fit. Tires cannot settle in a stable position on the track because it is too narrow.
In the kit, you will find a strap

Since the reflector was in the way, I had to move the seat up to make it fit on the stand. Though it is a little wobbly, I wouldn't say that I am concerned about it toppling, but I would have to bump it pretty hard to bring it down, so I don't want to infer that it isn't feasible for it to fall. In addition to being petite and having neck problems, I can't lift my bike onto any other rack, so for only $60 I have mixed feelings about it. As difficult as this may seem, I'm hoping to see if moving the bike out of the way hurts me in the long run. Although I love it and would buy it again, the only other option would have been to hang it from the ceiling, which would have been an excessive amount of work to lift it only three feet from the floor.
Other reviewers have mentioned that the construction could be a bit more solid, but I did not believe that it was flimsy. The bike rack is just average, and it functions quite well, but there is one rather serious drawback. Others may not realize this (although I later realized that it would actually work better with fenders), but there is no bike rack that works well with I have a commuter with both of them, but it is a bit wobbly on the stand.
It works just like it says on the tin. I like how easy it is to put together and how much space it saves in my small According to some reviews, the stand is not very stable when the screws are tight and the strap is attached to the wheel. When all screws are tight and the strap is on the wheel, it is quite stable.
As with other reviews on this website, it works for what I need, but I wouldn't call it the most sturdy. My apartment is small, so I don't want to make it crumble. This was displayed in an advertisement, and I thought it was a good idea. My bike is held up by it, and I use it for all my needs- You have the right to give me more room. Almost all of your bike is held together by the strap, so it's important to wrap it tightly around the bike or it will fall away. All in all, happy with it. I only wish a clamp were used in the place of a Velcro strap to hold the bike in place. This was also super easy to put together, it only took me thirty minutes, and I usually have a hard time putting together IKEA furniture.
The bike nook held three bikes that I recently purchased. This bike rack was easy to put together, and I was able to get the bikes on it easily. The clamp does not easily accept mountain bikes with wide tires, but it works nonetheless. When it was set a little large the bike fell forward and off the stand. When it was set a little lower, the rear tire didn't fit properly against the stand, making it seem shaky we used a small bungee cord In order to secure the front tire to the frame of the bike, there is a strap, which is sure to keep the vehicle from leaning if the tire is not secured correctly, making the bike nook appear unstable. It appears to be a useful product, but I believe it can be improved. It should be constructed of a heavier metal, and should include two straps rather than one.
In order to secure the front wheel, you need to engage the front tire. That isn't always successful on the first attempt. I have to use two hands, not one, when I am trying to lift the bike. There is a fender on my motorcycle, so it does not fit very well on the stand.
This bike rake has an opening that does not line up with the threaded nut, rendering it useless! I will now be served with another piece of garbage from Amazon as they require me to return this one to them before I will be sent a new one! Keeping this rack away from you is a bad idea. Buy something with a bit more quality and spend a few extra dollars. We would like to ask Amazon to at least provide a guarantee for the crap we buy.
We have solved our problem! In the past few months, we have been living in a 2-bedroom condo The parking garage consists of three levels. Two foldable mountain bikes are in our possession The weight should not be too heavy, but neither should it be too Despite creating more room indoors, this added a level of complexity that ultimately demotivated us to ride. Added to the difficulties was having to carry the bikes up another two flights of stairs. Turn the screw on the Initially, we brought the fully assembled bikes indoors, but that did not fix the problem. In some ways, it solved problems, but in other ways, it created new ones. It is in- Whenever we came home with them, they looked bulky and unsightly Easily entangled. *In the Bike Nook, you will find a number of bicycles. It would be difficult or impossible for us to install anything that would stick out on the wall. Assuming that we did, though lifting a bike over your head for one reason or another is unavoidable, it is another matter altogether to do so. We won't be using it. With the Bike Nook, you don't have to add visual or physical bulk to equipment that is already bulky. We may not consider them decorative, but the Nooks allow us to store our bikes in just 3 feet of space. Our den/bonus room has a corner that is 5 square feet in the farthest back, out of the way. The bike and you are no longer bumping into one another and trying to catch each other before expending both of your energy. The floor wobbles a little bit if you push though it's not too dangerous. A number of Bike Nook's components are made from thick steel coated with a thick powder coating. You should note It is also difficult to roll bikes onto the stands in the same way you would back up a car, but the Bike Nook is still very useful. Rolling into position is as simple as raising the back tire. One star off due to a slight jiggle that seems to disappear once the game has That wouldn't be enough to make the bikes unstable (we can't move our bikes! could be even stronger if, for example, more of it was welded Other than this, it's nice and it solved our problem so despite the nit-picky aspects, I would recommend it This is our favorite pick.
