Questions & Answers
There is one bolt that is included with the package for installation on wooden walls. However, if you buy heavy-duty plastic anchors for concrete or concrete anchors, the rack will work as well.
It is approximately. The clothes hang on a hook 5 inches from the floor. You should be able to hang the hanger over the handlebars if you place it above where you will hit them. Having both commuting and mountain bikes (1 on each hanger) has never been an issue. If two bikes are hung in opposite directions there is not really enough room to accommodate them and even then it would be quite difficult to arrange
First of all, I'm not quite sure I understand your Prior to assembling the rack, there is some adhesive-backed foam that needs to be applied to it. There is a fold in the arm.
As a result, the U-turn is gaining steam There are nine brackets in this shape. The height of this tee is 7 inches. There are not enough mounting bolts to support the bracket with the length provided. As well, this item is not capable of holding more than one bicycle of full size.

My decision to choose this bike rack over two others I ordered was based on two factors Two of its major features are 1) Easy installation with one screw and 2) Folds up out of the way when not in use. The installation took me no more than five minutes, and it doesn't tip one way or the other. The frame on my Schwinn bike bought in 1989 is only 16 inches, and I was afraid the rack's bars would be too wide apart. But the bike frame fits fine. The rack is supposed to hold 100 pounds, and I was able to test it with a brad nail. No, it probably holds only one bike, not two. However, I don't mind that at all. My overall impression of the Allen bike rack is positive.
I was taught by my mother to keep my mouth shut if I didn't have anything nice to say. In any case, I hope to say this nicely enough that she won't find any ground to scold me. The Allen bike rack I have for my car (for years) is perfect for me. This is a low-cost product It is solid, it does the job and it is highly technical. Having this in mind, it wasn't too difficult to decide to get a After mounting it, I went to place my two bikes on it. There's no way. As mountain bikers, my wife and I have similar interests. A hybrid bike that seems to combine the best features of a road bike and an off-road bike The rack is only able to accommodate one road bike. The handlebars are not designed to fit more than one bike In theory, it is possible to cram both on, but it makes for a terrible arrangement if you don't care about damaging the shifting mechanism or something. Unfortunately, Allen just needs to extend the current bars by three inches to solve this problem. If I purchase another rack, I'll be able to place one bike on each one. I'm trying to decide if I want to reward my shortsighted stinginess. As far as my car rack is concerned, I still enjoy it.
and after too much research, I went with a brand I trust. Allen is my bike rack for my car, so I decided to try it out. Due to the limited number of bicycles and price, we didn't want to go overboard. The order was placed on the 13th the order was delivered on the 15th and the order was I will explain how easy it is. Screw with one long piece. Take a wooden stud and screw it into the wall. Behind the padding I did not even bother to put any rubber. We will cut them into smaller pieces and use them as cabinets doors (they will be cut in small pieces). In a matter of minutes, both bicycles were fitted into the Allen Rack. The picture above illustrates what I mean.
We bought this bike mount to keep our bikes upright and out of the way. As the item came in an Amazon box which appeared to be in good shape, but when I opened the box there was the item box itself ( see attached) which was rather beat up and retaped. Taking out the mount, I saw scratches all over it, but I decided to put it up as I'm going to put it in my garage and no one would see it. Upon mounting the hook to a stud on the wall, I noticed that the hook itself keeps tilting once my bike is placed Because the screw given with the product wasn't long enough to hold the hook in place, I determined that the screw was the issue. With the help of an additional screw set I got from the hardware store, I was able to install my bike mount. As a result, I am putting this review up to provide manufacturers with an idea of the hassle I had to go through, in order to put up one bicycle Please be patient and take the time if you have the ability Go for this product if you have the time (a couple of hours to figure out, get new screws, etc. ) since it is well designed and does its job well.
Looking for a solution for a bike rack that would keep two bikes off the ground. Our previous wall mounts were vertical, but they took up a lot of Next, I looked up at the ceiling hoists, which seemed too complicated. My path led me to this mount after that. All that needs to be done is screw it into a stud once it is assembled. There would be a little more peace of mind if it had a second screw to keep it in place. Additionally, if it were just an inch or two deeper, the bikes would rub against each other As always, this is an excellent product and I am completely satisfied.
It is an updated version of an older Allen bike rack that I already owned, except it is a different color. As much as I liked the storage rack, I would not use the bolt that came with it. On my first rack, I erred by using the one included and the screw snapped in half when I slid it into place. In order to install it into the stud in the wall, I bought lag bolts from the hardware store. In my opinion, using this with two completed bikes is not recommended. My current inventory is three of these bikes, one of them with spare wheels/tires, so I have a spare bike on every bike. When the wheels and pedals are removed, I do store two bikes on them. It is a low-cost stand that can also be used as a work stand when servicing.
I had to drill a hole in the folding part and use an extra screw because the bike moves around too much when I try to use it or The way it's mounted in a 2 x 4 stud seems to make it as reliable as it needs to be. Despite the fact that I cannot fold the shirt due to the extra screw I installed, I felt it was worth the sacrifice for the additional stability. Stand is suitable for holding electric beach cruisers, which cannot easily be supported by other.
Amount of space on the wall mount was very limited, yet I managed to fit 2 mountain bikes (one Gary Fisher, one Liv Giant) on it. You may need to try different combinations and configurations to determine why it is working The choice was made in the end to keep only one bike on the rack, and one on the ground. I have a lot of difficulty mounting the second bike The amount of time and energy wasted is too great. There was no relief between the two bikes as well. Its as if they are right next to one another. There is a lot of tangle beneath the pedals, as well as cables and wires that get broken. The bike rack is ideal for one adult-sized bike. The rack should not be called a "2-bike rack. " The bike rack is a bike storage system. " "1-" would be a better translation You can ride a bike if you're lucky), Although, that is not to say that you won't be able to fit two adult-sized bikes, you might be able to have exposed studs (like a garage without If you do this, you may end up with Thankfully, I hope you can visualize that. The wall mount will have about 5" (if you have 2x4) of depth behind it, allowing some of your handlebar to be positioned between the studs. There is a single screw that comes with the mount that was made of a poor quality When drilling too quickly, you could strip out the head if you are not careful. To end up using my own screw, I just used it. This is an affordable, durable wall mount that is easy to use and mount to the Bike has not been damaged in any way. It's too early.
