Functions very well and is light in weight

This boots have not left my feet since I bought them I wore them all the time for about 5 months and even used them for work. It has been worn in snow, swamps, and cities, and it is holding up just fine. It has some wear and tear, but that is fairly normal. In spite of this, they have proved waterproof, and my feet have been dry as we have crossed rivers. My other pair of Bates do not have Vibram soles, which I found to be less grippy and durable. It is only the heels I don't like about this boot I find that the leather bunches up whenever I move my feet, making it harder to polish and lead to wrinkling. Apart from that, these have become my favorite boots from Bates, and I will be eager to buy another pair when my current boots wear out. Update

I've had the boots for about a year now, and they are still in great shape. Even though they look worn, they still function because of their waterproofing, and there has not been much damage to the material. Since I have been wearing them everyday, they have become part of my life You stopped no matter what you were doing, whether you were working, hiking, or just It has not worn down yet so the Vibram soles are still going strong. I would recommend it to anyone.

I bought these for my husband for two reasons. I loved my old pair for over 6 years, and he wanted to know and he wanted to know "how good can they be?". That's all he needs to know now! They're a big hit with him as well!.

leather breaking down even after two months of use. I won't buy from this store Though Bates' shoes are comfortable, they could have done with higher quality.

They are quickly torn apart

I find this product to be comfortable and holds a good shine. However, the quality is a lot worse than I expected. They have only been with me for six months, and the hook and loop closure on the zipper has already fallen off, as well as a bit of leather on the tops Despite the fact that the boots are incredibly light and comfortable, I am very disappointed.
