go up a size if the seller says to, I'm 6'0", 185 lbs, and the medium fit just right with enough room for a light jacket under it. If you plan to gain a lot of weight or wear a thick jacket underneath, go up a size only if you plan to put on lots of weight.
As a result, this vest is very comfortable and I use it almost all the time at work now. I'll probably buy another one after wearing out my first one!.

That's a nice looking guy. It is functional. Unlike any other vest I've bought, it runs very small to me, and it is shorter than anything else I've bought.
