This is one of the best high-visibility, moisture-wicking work shirts you'll ever come across. The small collar not only looks cool and gives a slightly more professional appearance than T-cuts of similar styles, but it also serves a useful function of shading the part of one's neck from the sun, and the opening in the front is a nice option of relief when one is overheated, but it can be closed up higher than a non-fastening shirt neck when cold or exposed to airborne particles for dirty jobs. Long sleeves are also a good option for these reasons because you can roll them up if you don't need them, but they're there if you do. When it comes to sweat, you may feel it on your skin while wearing this shirt, but the shirt never appears to be soaked in sweat, no matter how much you sweat. It is better than cotton at keeping you cool by evaporating sweat instead of soaking it up until you look and feel like you jumped into a jacuzzi while dressed, as most regular clothes do when used for physical labor in the heat. The fishbone vis line pattern is also unique and fashionable, while maintaining a genuine utilitarian appearance. My only complaint is that I wish there were more of these in various colors.
My motivation was the reflective stripes, but the forearm bands were too tight when I put it on. Given that these were advertised as men's shirts, I could forgive the fact that they nearly reached my knees, but the tight forearms make me wonder who they were made for. My proportions are small because I'm 5'5" and weigh 115 pounds. It's a strange shirt, and it's a huge letdown.
Because I work outside, the collar sits a little higher than a regular crew neck, which is great for blocking some sun on the bottom of my neck. Because I work outside, these long sleeve class 3's assist me in battling the sun.
I bought these for my husband, who was skeptical about how long they would last. He now requires that I purchase these for him every six months. He works in construction, and his coworkers have even inquired as to where he gets his shirts:).
This is the best Safety Class 3 shirt for working at all hours of the day and night. Summer and winter are two distinct seasons. It's thin, strong, and noticeable. It appears to be outstanding! br>br>Instead of the Green, I prefer the Orange with black. Because it is easier to clean and does not stain as easily. -br>br>-br>-br>-br>-br>-br>-br>-br>- It's a little on the expensive side. br>.
I bought this to try out as part of my work's vis clothing. Very comfortable, and far superior to bulk-order shirts from your neighborhood print shop. We received a lot of positive feedback and will most likely order these for the rest of the staff next harvest when we have a lot of lift truck traffic, as we work in the agricultural industry receiving and processing fresh produce. I'm between a large and an XL depending on the brand, so I went with the large and it fit perfectly.
If you're looking for warmth, go somewhere else. If you're looking for a long-sleeved, comfortable work shirt, look no further. That concludes the discussion.
vis. Because I've been working on jobs that require long sleeves AND high visibility, this shirt has come in handy. Clothing that is visible. In general, the fit is excellent. I'm a 2XL/3XL (depending on the manufacturer) and decided to take a chance because 2XL was the largest size available. When I'm sitting, the reflective stripe in the middle is a little tight on my stomach, but it fits well otherwise. I'll be purchasing more of these in the future. Oh, and they're light and airy, which makes them ideal for summer work but not so much for winter.
