Questions & Answers

Whether it's @coldwarvet607 or anyone else - My height is 5' 7" and my weight is 315 pounds. What size should I get if my chest measures 50 inches and my waist measures 44 inches? Please accept my gratitude. ?

XL is the size to go for. Im 5- I got an XL because I like a loose fit, but it was like a parachute on me. I'm 6'170 pounds, 44 chest 36 waist, and I got an XL because I like a loose fit. My legs were significantly longer, and I had plenty of room in the waist, chest, shoulders, and other areas. So I believe this is a good fit for you; the L would most likely be too small. I believe I sized up based on the chart's recommendation, assuming it would be smaller. One thing to keep in mind is that you will be sweating profusely in this thing. In the fall of 2006, I painted 22 doors in California, and after spray painting two of the three rows, I had to stop for water. When I opened the suit because I was hot, my shirt and pants were saturated with sweat, and my sweat was dripping out of the suit; it's like a sealed plastic, but it doesn't feel like super plastic when you wear it, and it's not at all breathable. However, it's a fantastic suit; I've worn it four times and it's still in excellent condition.

Is it possible to dye this fabric in a different color?

I'm not sure, but I'm pretty sure it's water proof because I completely saturated my shirt and pants with sweat to the point where they were dripping wet, as if a bucket of water had been poured over them. Sweat dripped out of my suit and accumulated in a puddle after I removed it, but none of it made it to the outside. It's a fabric that looks like it's made out of plastic. It didn't absorb a drop of sweat, so I don't think a dye would stick to it.

Is it possible to wash these after they have been used?

You might be able to wash them on gentle and by themselves if you don't have anything else in the wash. They aren't made of paper, after all. They're fairly durable, but I've only used them a few times. Nonetheless, I enjoy them. I ordered another one so I could use it for another project; I don't see why you couldn't wash them, even though they are disposable; they should withstand a gentle wash.

Is it going to keep you dry in the rain?

That is exactly the opposite of what I can tell you. I painted 22 doors lined up in a large room in my house during the California fall, which is quite warm. I stopped for water after spraying two of the three rows because I was dying. When I opened the suit, my shirt and pants were dripping saturated wet, and sweat even ran out of my suit when I took it off. It has a plastic-like feel to it, but not in the way that cheap plastic does; rather, it feels more like a fabric. I'd say the suit is pretty much water proof because none of the sweat that had saturated me was noticeable or seeped through.

Excellent purchase
5/5

This outfit (with the face mask) was fantastic. (The shield is not included. ) I wore it on the plane to keep myself safe. COVID, COVID, COVID, COVID, COVID, CO Despite the fact that I appeared to be absolutely hilarious, I was completely safe. I bought two so that I could throw them away after each flight. Would suggest Purchased once more.

Surprisingly Long-Lasting — I'm ecstatic! I bought this suit for my husband to work in the dirt floor crawl space beneath our house for a couple of hours
5/5

After a couple of hours of twisting, turning, and sliding around on his stomach over concrete rubble and dirt, he declared that the fit was perfect and that it kept his clothes underneath clean and dust-free! There were no tears at all! The attached hood kept dirt and spiders out of his hair, which was a welcome bonus. He's 5' 11" and weighs 212 lbs, so I ordered an extra large for him and it fit perfectly. This product exceeded my expectations and was well worth the price. He came out of the crawl space, removed the door, and disposed of it in a plastic bag. Easy!.

Suit is very durable and can be used again and again
5/5

I used it to paint indoors with spray paint. It's well-made of a flexible plastic/pvc material that looks like cloth. I'll be able to use this a lot more in the coming days; the plastic-like material is thick and durable, so it's not like it's cheap paper. I had to wear an old baseball cap to keep the hood from falling over my eyes because it is quite large. Im 5- They made it sound like a L only goes up to a 36 waist on the fit chart, so I ordered an XL. Clothing is something I enjoy doing. This type of jumpsuit should be loose. It's not as tight as French underwear, so it's more comfortable. However, an XL was too "puffy" for me; a L would have been ideal. Some people reported zipper issues; mine is fine and will last a long time. One caution: it does not breathe at all; you will get drenched if you wear it on a hot day. I spray painted 20 doors / 40 sides x 12 up. I was saturated on a hot day because each down pass per door equaled 480 squats. It's highly suggested!.

For me, it's perfect
5/5

I'm being completely honest. This is what I'm going to use to paint with. I'd had it with ruining so many clothes for something I'd grown to enjoy. It is ideal for me. I don't have to worry about wiping my hands on anything. It does get hot, and I find myself sweating profusely. I've changed what I'm wearing underneath because of the happy surprise. It also makes getting in and out with the paint intact a breeze. It does not absorb into your skin. *Paint* I'm extremely pleased with my purchase. I'm hoping that buying in bulk will save me some money. It is worthwhile for me.

This is a good protective suit
5/5

I needed to spray some insecticide indoors and was concerned about overspray. I looked at a few suits before finding this one that was significantly less expensive than the others. This would normally be a red flag, but the reviews were positive, so I decided to order one. It was comfortable to wear and provided full coverage (elastic on the sleeves, ankles, and hood). I had no trouble putting it on and spraying my entire two-car garage with it because the front zipper worked well. Although the material is extremely thin, it did not tear. It's supposed to be a one-time use item, but I've used it a few more times since then when I've been sanding drywall and needed to keep the dust off my clothes.

hooded onesie; full onesie I would order from them again because the quality is excellent for the price
5/5

The thickness is moderate and pleasant. I wish it was a little cooler, but I understand that any onesie is hot. I'm willing to make the sacrifice. br>br>I did get a suit with pants and a hood, but I understand that not everyone did. br>br>It has moderately loose stitching for the zipper at the crotch out of the box, so I'm afraid it'll rip, but for the price, it's fantastic! It's exactly what I was hoping for. br>br>It's a little thicker than those hospital-issued disposable cover-up blankets. br>br>I'm 5'8" and weigh around 222 pounds. I'm 5'5" and ordered an extra large, so there's plenty of room in the body, but I'll be wearing clothes underneath, so the extra room is nice. Regardless, the neck and hood are extremely restrictive. I get the hood, but the neck seems to be just a smidgeon too long to zip all the way up without choking. I'm a big guy, but my neck is pretty normal, so it surprised me that it was so tight. You don't have to zip all the way up to get a good seal. br>br>However, you don't need to zip all the way up to get a good seal. I mean it isn't medical grade yet and it is a precaution, but not 100%. With an already open face, a slightly unzipped neck is a no-no. issue. Put on a mask and protect yourself with a shield. br>br>I like it, and it's very reasonably priced and arrived promptly. I'm sure I'll buy something else.

I don't think it's a good idea
3/5

Pros:
- a low-cost alternativebr>- br>br>Pros: I was able to keep my clothes clean. br>br>Cons:
- Quite smallbr>- I bought these coveralls to use with a paint sprayer and they are completely unbreathable. br>br>I bought these coveralls to use with a paint sprayer and they are completely unbreathable. I was painting indoors in the air conditioning and was completely drenched in sweat after only a few minutes. The material simply traps all of your body heat, making it feel like you're wearing a sauna suit. I had to change my clothes twice to finish my project; I'm 6'1" and 200 pounds, and these were practically unusable. This isn't a true XL, in my opinion. I could fit into them, but there was no room between my crotch and my shoulders. They wouldn't have fit if my torso had been an inch longer. My socks and ankles were also exposed because the legs were about 3 inches too short. I was looking for the cheapest disposable suit I could find for this painting project, and I found one. Only if I knew I'd only need it for a short period of time or for a cold-weather project would I consider buying it again. I'll probably spend a few dollars more next time to get a higher-quality one.

It's tough enough to withstand a lot of abuse
5/5

It's cheap enough to be thrown away. These Tyvek suits were purchased for the messy job of crawling underneath my 4Runner to spray the frame with PB Surface Shield and Fluid Film to prevent frame corrosion. That was where the Tyvek suit came in handy. I also keep one in my car in case I need to crawl underneath it to diagnose or repair something. br>br>This Tyvek suit would also make an excellent ultralight rain suit or windbreaker for survival use, or in place of a rain suit when riding a motorcycle for emergency use. It folds up into a small package.
