This rain suit has made me very happy. In Colorado, we've had a windy, rainy spring, and this suit has allowed me to continue gardening regardless of the weather. For $13, it was a fantastic deal. I paid 49 dollars for a product that was of higher quality than I anticipated. br>br>I bought the medium because I am a size 8 to 10 in women's clothing. The sleeves and pants are just a smidgeon too long for me, but the extra room allows me to move freely. Even in heavy, windy rain, there is no way for any water to get in. The sleeve and pants ends can be tightened with snaps, and the hood can be tightened with a string. br>br>It even occurred to me that this would make good foul weather gear for sailing, where really heavy duty waterproof suits are sometimes required in a good nor'easter. I had hoped for a lighter-weight fabric, but the weight savings comes at the expense of water resistance and long-term durability.
When I tried on the overalls, a section of the pants had been sealed together and ripped, which made me unhappy. The jacket is functional, and if it weren't for that flaw, it would have been a good product; perhaps the flaw was caused by transit issues.
I required it for a Halloween costume, and I received it. It isn't particularly long-lasting, but it does the job. it worked.
My boyfriend is a 1x, and we purchased a 3x, which was still a little tight in some areas. It was sturdy enough, held up well throughout the day, and we haven't used it since.
I use it for fishing, and it provides adequate rain protection while allowing for easy casting and other activities. It is not a replacement for heavy-duty protection, but it is ideal for most weather-related activities. situations that are similar.
As I am well aware, you get what you pay for. It's no different with this item. The suspenders ripped immediately, and the crotch was torn out as well. No bueno!.
This item appears to be very low-cost, and the sizing appears to be incorrect. I returned the item right away because it was 3x larger than a large, and I do not recommend it.
The sizer was off by a couple of sizes.
