When I was caring for my husband, I wore the gowns with two masks, a face shield, and gloves. They kept me from coming into direct contact with him and kept us at a safe distance so I wouldn't catch the virus because I was about to have heart surgery. He died of the virus on 1/27/2021, but I was spared due to my precautions. The gowns were well-made, reasonably priced, and did the job well, in my opinion.
The only reason I gave it a four star instead of a five is because it's made of such a thick, non-breathable material that you'll sweat and see it collect inside the material as water pulps while wearing it. If you're looking for something breathable, this isn't it. Aside from that, everything is fine. This material is impenetrable to anything. That's how good it really is. So be careful; there is no air circulation, and you will become extremely hot! I only wore it twice before having to order new, more breathable ones.
They'll be used for an overnight camp for kids. If a camper exhibits two or more symptoms, our staff nurse is required to put on a gown, face shield, and other protective gear. These are precautionary measures, at a reasonable cost, for what I, a 40-year veteran nurse, know will work. We're all crossing our fingers that we don't have to wear even one gown.
This is *terrible*. I have to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) at work, and this is the first time I've chosen these over another brand; they feel like crunchy garbage bags. Within a few minutes, I was dripping wet. Awful, oh my god, oh my god, oh.
Definitely long-lasting! Comfortable to wear, but I SWEATED a lot. I didn't sweat uncomfortably, but I did sweat a lot. I don't want pneumonia, so I'm not sure I'll wear these to work like I planned, but I'm sure I'll find a use for them. I think they're pretty protective.
When you wear them for an extended period of time, you will sweat. They're what I use for oil painting.
Perfectly designed and delivered in a timely manner! Thanks.
It really works. I really like the elastic band on the wrist cuff - it's so cute! It has an upscale feel to it.
