This is made from a thick leather that's about 1/8" thick. This is the best welding jacket I have ever There is no doubt that it will keep you safe In my case, a large is the best size for me at 6' 1" 230 lbs. Extra large is recommended if you like your shirts really loose. There is nothing I like more than this.
There is a chance the leather will stain clothing if it is moist. As far as staining goes, we rinsed it to get rid of the smell, and haven't noticed any problems. Although our tub was discolored for a short time, there was a lot of color in the rinse water, so there is some potential.
It can fit anyone weighing between 90 and 500 pounds, as it is adjustable on the back.
My height is 5'10" and my weight is 200 pounds, so large fits snugly.

I would give this a score of 4 If they actually finished curing the leather before cutting, stitching, and packing, then I would give them a 5 star review. My first observation was the excessively damp leather and the rust on the snaps on the bag as soon as I took it out of the bag. Initially, I could even feel the moisture on my skin through my clothes when I tried it on for fit. Speaking of the fit, it runs on the small side. I usually wear something between medium to large t-shirts. Even though the apron was still a little snug around the shoulders and a bit short on the arms, it seemed to be more like a loose fitting shirt. And that was before the leather dried completely. It is only when I stretch the leather as far as it will go that the shoulder and arm measurements match what is stated in the picture. If they are pressed flat, but not stretched, there is about an inch less material.
Stick and Mig welding are both great protected by this glove. A year ago, I would have purchased it. My arm was badly burned by slag when I was overhead welding while wearing an old cotton welding jacket. This is what I found when I started looking for something with better protection. skeptic because of the low price, but now that I've put it to use for several hours, I couldn't be happier. My container did not seem to have a bad smell as other reviewers complained.
It did an excellent job and I even avoided high temperatures The wire wheel was full of speed steel shards and loose wires. In all honesty, I really enjoy it. I, however, notice that the leather smells very strong and the leather itself seems to be of unmatched.
The Welding Apron Jacket is made of leather and is anti-static Designed in a way that is not user-friendly, the Scald Work Apron Heavy Duty Weld Coat Clothes is not user-friendly. If you want to hook it up on the back, you need someone to help you. It would be possible to hook the belt up on the front without any assistance if they made the belts longer. I can wear it when I wear a shirt only, no jacket, since the sleeves are very long, likely designed for big and tall men. However, the coat itself is narrow, so I can wear it when wearing a shirt alone. It is very difficult to connect push buttons. The cover is being used as a knee cover for me because I can't wear it.
An industrial product that can handle heavy loads I am certain you will get a good value for your You shouldn't leave it in your garage. . . it will stink up the whole The scent of lavender and roses isn't exactly that of lavender and roses, and I will be welding while wearing it (which isn't exactly lavender and roses). I still have to note that some may be upset with this because they don't live in the garage. Could the dye be the issue or could there be a fire retarding formula? Anyway, I'd like to say this Deal for those who don't mind strong odors, but not for those concerned about them. it has been hanging in the garage for a few months now, and though the smell has dissipated a bit, it is still quite.
Putting it on was worth its weight in gold. I really appreciated how comfortable it is. A Jeep frame is currently being rusted, and I'm welding in replacement sections of frame rails. Laying on my back and heating objects overhead would be a serious exercise in pain if I was not wearing I am amazed at the quality of this item! Considering the cost, I initially anticipated a low quality product, but I was pleasantly surprised to discover that this jacket was excellent. I never got burned even once when wearing it. The jacket is lightweight and easy to put on, and the fully adjustable straps on the back allow you to easily adjust it. Besides the standup collar, there are velcro tabs making it easy to fasten. Until your helmet comes up to your throat, it protects it as well. The jacket is really great and I highly recommend it!.
As I read the reviews, people commented on the smell when they received the package. The leather had a particular odor "LIKE PROCESSED LEATHER. ". It is normal to see that. This suits me well, as it is both interesting and fit My gloves needed snaps on the wrist of the gloves to make putting them on and taking them off easier. Besides the top strap, I also have to determine how to buckle it because my arms are too short to stretch that way anymore. I am happy with my purchase for the value.
Sure, you will look like a peasant from a medieval movie, but you will be well protected, just as if you were wearing a suit of armor. There is a smell to it, just as with all leather products. There is a strong smell like cheap gloves or something like that. It's just leather, so it's not the worst. Thanks to the velcro on the neck and clips on the back, this is easy to put on and take off. A Jewboer (what a name, eh? is the most likely thing I'd buy.
