A respirator is a necessity for me at work since there is a lot I do. It is illegal for my employer to make me wear company-issued clothing The office won't allow me to have my respirator evaluated by a professional, and they will not issue me a respirator unless I receive a certificate. Even so, they still expect me to finish my work. I wear these filters on my 3M respirator behind the back of my boss. I've tested it and it works.

It blocks pollen and odors as well as everything you do not want to breathe in

Because of several outdoor allergies (pollen, mold spores), I use this respirator in the yard, especially when I mow. It works flawlessly! In addition to blocking odors, it also controls latent scents - so if you use it for painting or staining or when you are performing a task with a smell (pouring gasoline or cleaning the cat box, for example), it will block that odor.
