) As far as the ability of these headphones to reduce noise is concerned, These products are perfect for me, because I work in an environment where there is a lot of noise and they reduce it to a level that's comfortable to listen to while still keeping me In regard to the audio, it sounds fine. As I am a tech-savvy person and did not want to exchange these and wait for new ones to arrive, I had to investigate the matter. The fix is a simple one, and all it takes is a few drops of krazy glue. 1) Remove the jack from the side of the earmuff. In general, I squeezed the (larger) sides of the plastic housing, and it popped 2) Unthread the nut that holds the jack in place on the bottom of the earmuff. Keep the lock in place so you don't lose it. The nut is held in place by a washer. Then, carefully wiggle the jack out of the hole after you have removed both pieces. 4) At this point, please refer to the picture I attached. The metal part of the housing separates from the plastic part every time I insert a wire, because the metal contacts are located on the plastic part of the housing. During use, the metal portion on each end generates tension to ensure that the jack stays securely in place. How to resolve? The banana plug isn't working right? My opinion is that the original cord is way too short. When I had the volume set all the way up, the muffs did greatly reduce outside noise, but the music barely made it through. The speakers from my ear buds worked better in terms of volume. I realize they are not some high-dollar music earbuds, but as I mentioned, there was not a lot of volume coming from the ear buds. The first time I tried them was while I mowed Once again, I am unimpressed. Is it possible that my set is defective? Unfortunately, I am not able to give more than 1 star since the plug issue and volume issue are out of the question.

The first thing I noticed was that I wasn't happy. I found that my item had already been It was not the shipping box. Clearly, the plastic seal on the actual item was opened and used, finger print stains included. If the item was not something you wear, then it wouldn't be a big deal. What a nasty thing to do. Once I cleaned them with a wipe, I tried plugging them in to see if they worked. It was a huge letdown. Likewise, if you are a fan of quality sound, you will not be satisfied. An advertisement says "Good Bass" Yeah, not even close to what it claims. We old enough to remember the sound of transistor radios can just imagine how amazing it would be to have two of these in your ears at once. Considering the state of the technology today, I can't believe the poor sound quality. According to how much noise they block, I would say that they are just like all of the other ones available, however, I did not test them with the noise I generate when mowing because they sound so unpleasantly bad, I knew they would drive me crazy in a few minutes. Instead of using my ear buds under my Harbor Freight ear muffs, I will use my ear buds. I would not recommend it. You may want to make sure the package has not already been opened if you choose to buy them.
