The plug of this device is for AUX plugs, so it is suitable for hearing protectors with AUX plugs. PELTOR TACTICAL 300, 500, and ZOHAN EM054 are all part of Howard Leight's line of safety earmuffs.

There is one Kenwood 2 pin U94 PTW for Baofeng Radio that comes with this kit.

I DO NOT recommend that you purchase! This is junk! It is impossible to hear anything when the radio is turned up all the way

You can bend the mic too far, and it will try to straighten out. On the other hand, it has heavy duty cable and a mic that will stay in place as long as you don't bend it too far. It's the fact that the two housings are screwed together, not glued, that's the big news here in my opinion. Those features are huge, since it means you can disassemble the device and repair the wiring and/or change the have taken apart the smaller case and it has a simple board on which everything is soldered, so it's no problem at all to restore it. A few of the pieces are filled with silicone (presumably to ensure waterproofing), but that's good. When a push-button was pushed I don't think it added any more noise than usual since the talk is not silent. Even though the implementation is not as cheap as many similar setups, it is most certainly a superior system that has the ability to perform well under trying conditions.
