I think they're probably just an error in the description, as they are definitely not headphones, but the earmuffs are nice

Despite the fact that I can still hear my shotgun, the noise is muffled well. Just keep in mind that it is inches from my ear. Thunder will be much less audible if it is at a very low volume or completely out if it is loud.

Despite the fact that the product title stated that these had a NRR of 26 dB, we purchased them anyway. There is a difference of 23 dB between that value and the workplace requirement. As a result of misrepresentation, receiving a product that is insufficient for my purposes, and being wasteful of my time, I have a feeling I will never turn this purchase around.
Although the ear muffs I received were as pictured, if I knew they only provided a low level of protection, I would have chosen something stronger as I plan on using them for lawn mowing and other activities that can cause noise. I am not sure if the product they are sending out has been changed, but it is not the 26 db that was advertised, and I would not recommend these ear muffs for shooting or other loud activities as described.
And this works great. I haven't tried it out yet but it will be enough to block out the unwanted noise. Obviously, it is also amazing for loud concerts, events, and you can even use it on bus rides if someone is talking too loudly and you want to drown them This is a great resource. Unless you can get little in ear foam items for 10 bucks that stay in, these are the best for me. I tried small in ear foam items but could never get them to stay in, and this just works better. Since it doesn't draw so much attention it might seem like you're just wearing some wireless headsets, so people might think you're drowsing out the noise anyways since it doesn't stand out so much.
