I'm not sure how hot autoclaves get, but I've only ever used these gloves in extreme colds, and they're fantastic. In my opinion, these gloves would be suitable for handling hot items because the material on the inside of the glove appears to be similar to that of an oven mitt. I doubt you'll be able to handle hot items for an extended period of time. I'd be concerned that the glove's material on the OUTSIDE wouldn't be able to withstand extremely hot objects. Outside, the material feels like a winter snow glove and isn't water resistant in the least.
Yes, you are permitted to do so. However, it is preferable to use the freezer gloves on a daily basis.
Nitrogen is delivered to commercial accounts by me. My transfer hose is handled with the gloves. My hose has a lot of movement - 160 to - I can withstand temperatures of 190 degrees without becoming cold. These gloves aren't waterproof, so they're useless once they've been wet. I hope this has been of assistance.
Possibly. They are not water proof as stated, and mine got completely wet and dried fine; however, if you do, I would recommend letting them air dry.

objects that are frozen I purchased these to work in the freezer at an Amazon UFF fulfillment center, where the temperature can reach - 10 F. The warehouse's PPE won't keep your fingers from freezing, but these heavy-duty gloves keep my fingers at least functional during my stints in the freezer, where we have to grasp objects in the freezing cold. For the price, this is an excellent purchase.
The insulation, as stated in the headline, does not last long. When it flattens out, the majority of your insulation against the cold is lost. So think about how much you'll use them and how much stress/pressure you'll put on them (I'm a rough user). However, they are at ease and have good agility while working.
These gloves are used to make nitrogen ice cream. While holding the supply hose, which is completely iced over, it takes at least 10 minutes for some of the cold to seep through the gloves. It's also nice that the gloves go all the way to the elbow, providing a nice sense of protection as we let the liquid nitrogen flow into the 12 gallon mixer.
I was really looking forward to putting these to use. Need to get cold drinks out of a big tub of ice and water. It definitely worked in the cold, but after a few times in the cold water, they began to absorb it like a sponge. It was a complete waste of money.
Liquid flowed freely through the space. It was found with vapor for lng, but the liquid passed right through.
To use with Dry Ice, I purchased this item. I am pleased with the product.
These were a must-have for me, but they aren't waterproof.
They're ideal for me as a cryogenic truck driver.
