Selected User Reviews For PETZL ASAP MOBILE FALL-ARREST DEVICE FOR ROPE

Fall arresters are probably at the peak of their game
5/5

This unit has been tested by our own team with weights of around 300kg and was able to withstand such heavy In addition to testing on thicker rope, we examined thinner, flimsier rope to see if it would damage them I was able to successfully use a hollow braid propylene of 6mm. Keeping the rope in place after repeated falls will wear it down. Because metal isbiting into the rope, it will erode, but you should replace the rope anyway after a couple of falls. In terms of design, I don't think it matters much that the unit scrapes away its own paint on the inside. However, since it shouldn't rust, the unit scrapes away its own paint.

An act of rope grabbing
5/5

It's a great rope grab that I use for high rise window cleaning my second one and I use it daily. The only downside is when it gets windy and the rope is pulled up through it while repelling down, it sometimes locks up.
