My prescription glasses also fit comfortably over my regular glasses, so I needed a pair that would go over them comfortably. This have been a great pair of goggles! My coworkers have all bought pairs from the link and I shared their links as well. I had met many coworkers who purchased goggles intended to fit on top of glasses that did not secure on their faces. It is really amazing to see how well these work! It was a pleasure working with you.
Despite their effectiveness, and the fact that my glasses fit under them, I wish they were a bit tighter, as they feel as if they would fall off if I kept looking down Approximately two and a half inches wide, the lenses are 1. 5 inches. 1"w x 25"h They are 75"h and fit snugly under the goggles (see pictures). suggestion would be to insert both pairs of glasses into the goggles, and then put both pairs on at the same time. This is important Due to the fact that these are not airtight, some requirements may not be met. Despite this, they do not seem to be flushed.
Even though there are a lot of good reviews and product claims, I find that the actual product is lacking when it comes to quality. Both of these came with two 10 oz. bottles of automotive wax when I ordered two of them. Yet the box arrived in perfect condition, but a pair of glasses had half of the left lens cracked and were badly scratched. I did some testing of my own on that pair of shoes after initiating a return with Amazon. Meanwhile, Amazon did not want the broken pair returned. They were very easy to break by hand with only a little flexing. They corrode badly if left on, and I could easily remove them by wiping them down. In no place on the product do I see that it is ANSI or CSA approved. Not even the tag that is attached to the glasses says so. There was no other place to find safety rating claims than the plastic wrapper. Since I'm not confident in this product's safety, I wouldn't rely on it if it were so easily breakable, and if it wasn't clearly marked with its ANSI/CSA standards. This has been a very satisfying experience for me. To do my lab work, I needed safety glasses. Since I am blind, I was looking for something like this since I no longer have my prescription glasses. Since the arms are made from one solid piece of material, they won't split like those terrible Uvex ones that I struggled with for so long. It fits perfectly over my prescription glasses, as well as over all of my other glasses The same is true for workers' sunglasses (from minimalist lenses to frames with thick lenses). There are many positive reviews on this model of Gateway Cover2 safety glasses, which is mystifying to me. Even though my reading glasses are quite small, they don't fit well. Within the frames of the glasses, about the middle of my eyebrows to the middle of my temples, I can fit four fingers per side. In other words, they aren't protecting you. You will get eyestrain from them after about ten minutes because of the low visibility of the plastic. As for the sharpness of the plastic, I find it a problem. It was against the sides of my nose and edged against my nose. There are many improvements over the Gateway in terms of specs.
I prefer wearing them over my glasses because they fit really well.
I purchased these because I needed some goggles for my college Chemistry labs, and while some were readily available on campus, I wanted to make sure I had my own. Their price was twice as much as they should have been, and their software was dreadful. bought a pair of these a few semesters ago and they became contorted and uncomfortable after only a few weeks of being in my bag. I received them for free when I got two of them Because I have Amazon Prime, I can order these in the morning and have them arrive the next day. This is a crazy cheap deal (less than $5 including tax) and is available very quickly.
