I have been able to wear my glasses through entry on every ride I have done, from 400 foot vertical drops to flying suspended like Superman at 50 meters. As for my glasses, I will always have them with me. There are some who claim they are hard to install, but they are just designed to hold well onto earpieces. I have a son who has hard time getting on his pair of shoes, but he also doesn't get them off, and I have a pretty active kid. In addition, I appreciate the rubber ball on the back that allows me to adjust the tension easily. Please adjust said tension carefully, since if you don't have your hands securely on the ball and tail, you might knock your fist on your head and pull your glasses into your eyes, making strange and interesting patterns of facial secretions on the insides of your glasses. Even so, I would never want this to be any looser, or else everything wouldn't be so safe. When you're having a little bit of fun, Chums are a must if you need to hold your spectacles.

It fits original Wayfarer frames perfectly. I appreciate your kind words. I'm a first-time buyer. I was a little disappointed at first because the ear pieces of my blackframe "Blues Brothers" Ray-Bans would not slide onto the ear pieces when they first arrived. I have taken off the Wayfarers from my eyeglass frames. I inspected them and did not find any defects in workmanship. The stitching, as far as I could see, was very carefully done using the appropriate thread and correct tension for the upper and lower machine. In order to do this, I gently slid the ends that go over the ear pieces over a hard plastic toothbrush handle that was almost the same size as the Wayfarer frame, In fact, as I slid each of these sides over the plastic handle I noticed they wouldn't go on because there was glue inside of the openings. This isn't a big issue, in fact it shows that the manufacturer is not afraid to use enough glue. To clean my wayfarers, I use lemon pledge and wipe them clean in the same way I have for years. I managed to put the retainer to the ear pieces perfectly the second time around, neither too tight nor too loose. As far as I can tell, they keep my eyeglasses from falling off my face when I'm leaning down, they work great while riding a motorcycle, and I think I'll be able to use them just fine. Because I enjoyed the craftsmanship and quality of the retainer of another brand I have used, I would like to see if the retainer from this brand matches what I've used in the past. The first time I realized these were a great choice was when I was upside down in a whitewater rapid in a hardshell While trying to roll, I failed, and when I came back out, I hit my face on a rock underwater. The Chums kept my glasses on even when I lost one of my lenses. In addition to hiking the Pacific Crest Trail (2,500 miles), ski seasons, 8,000 miles of mountain biking, and enjoying day to day kayaking and walking, I've used Chums for other activities. My glasses stay on when I drive on bumpy terrain—in addition, they keep my ears safe from jarring. I am not able to slip my glasses down my nose due to them. It wasn't until I wore them until they ripped that I realized they were Chums. When they're wet, I've noticed that they tend to tear easily if you adjust the tightness. I have found that with each pair of glasses, I have been able to protect very expensive prescription glasses and sunglass. Despite a bit of difficulty in installing, they have worked for my Oakley turbines. In the event that I am not careful when I put on the Chums, I can damage the rubber on the arms of the sunglasses. Due to some negative reviews, I recognize that these are not perfect and might not fit every frame style. I recommend trying a pair on before purchasing to make sure they will fit the frame. This device is very comfortable to use and easy to operate. In my experience, the supplied rope is barely large enough for me to wear my glasses over my head, and once I did, the glasses did not stay on the rope for very long.
